A lovely walk amongst the steam to see hot pools etc but not recommended for small children. Someone stayed behind at the car with them. Is a tourist attraction for overseas visitors. You could see the steam from the road

We were recommended this place by our hotel owner who organised tickets through Grab.... So glad we went. The short walk (max 30 minutes) was interesting but then wallowing in 37© was so very relaxing and my skin feels great. The best bit.... No Kids!!!

Very nice hot pools a short drive from Taupo city centre, no children allowed. The place is very quiet and good to rest after a long day or to give a break to your sore muscles. There's also an option to walk around the pools...More

Wing and his crew braved the rain and headed to Wairakei Terraces. It was absolutely beautiful. Deep, warm water in an amazing setting. Over 14's only allowed in. What's not to love.

The concept is good, we arrived expecting to pay a premium...but this is not worth the $25 each for what you got. We also made the mistake of not asking if there was a seniors discount. There was, but not posted, they said it was...More

No tables I haven’t seen anyone eat there. I would suggest De Brett’s or AC baths both lovely places if you want to take a picnic :)
