I love this place, my children enjoyed it so much. Catching prawns is alot harder than first thought but I think that's what draws everyone in. The walking track & activities are enjoyable for all ages and the restaurant food is great

First of all, this is not cheap. By the time you get a family in there and feed them, you will be spending some cash. Secondly, if you actually want to catch some prawns, this is not the place nor the method for it.The tour...More

Hi there, Thank you for your review and feedback. The opinion's of our guests are very important to us. The cost of our Prawns are based on the heavy cost's associated with running a farm and breeding a tropical Malaysian Prawn in a sub-tropical environment....More

We ate twice at the prawn park it was very busy but the food and service were excellent. This is a popular place and has a great view of the Huka jet boats. Unsure about the fishing but the food was excellent.

My son and I came here on our way into Taupo for the weekend. While it was fun, a fairly well set up, I thought $58 for two people to experience prawn fishing was expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. If it were not...More
