At Pukekura Park there are lakes with ducks, lovely walks along nature trails, a charming cafe, and you can keep walking and come out at Brooklands Bowl, an outdoor theatre. Oh, and some of the scenes in the movie The Last Samurai were filmed at this park.

Great place for a relaxing stroll in beautiful surroundings. Get lost here for the day, drop into the tea rooms and have a good cuppa. Love it.

What a fab place Pukekura Park and Brooklands are. Formal features (waterfalls, fountains, bridges, bandstands) in a lovely informal bush setting, well worth a couple of hours. And a lovely tea shop as well.

Beautiful park. A good place to relax. There is waterfall, a lake, Poets bridge. Had coffee at the tea house with beautiful view of the lake. We came back the next day and came in from the back entry near the zoo.
