Small town doesn't mean small history - fascinating

Being a small town museum the history is obviously localized to the area but it is still a fascinating way to spend a rainy morning in New Plymouth. Definitely glad I went

Great museum in central NP
Apr. 2021 • Family
Considering this is free (donations encouraged), this museum offers a lot! There are some interesting and interactive exhibits, a nice shop, and good facilities. Housed in a striking building along the waterfront.

Our visit here was on a rainy day in the school holidays. A lot of people with children thought of doing the same thing. Still good and interesting place to visit.
