Of all the places I've traveled and things I've seen, this may be one of the very coolest. It's basically a hot tub river/waterfall. And it's free and super easy to get to if you have a car! We soaked and chilled here for almost...More

This place can get very busy but is totally worth it. It's not far from Rotorua township and is well worth the trip. It's a short walk to get to a good swimming spot. And the way in to one of the swimming holes is...More

Was a lovely relaxing time, just have to be careful not to wear silver jewellery as it turns black! Don’t wear nice swimmers, it is called kerosene Creek for a reason (smells).

This spot was a bit off the beaten track and a great find. A pretty little hot spring in the middle of a creek and down a muddy path. There were only a few people when we were there, but I imagine it could get...More

We stopped by Kerosene Creek and had so much fun in the creek. Once you drive in, there is plenty of space for cars to park. There is also a public toilet you can use to change if needed (no showers). Best thing is you...More

We were taken here by Stepehen our wonderful guide from 'Real Rotorua' The surrounding forest was similar to back home in Scotland but the water was warm...unlike Scottish water! Beautiful place to walk ,swim or simply dip your feet into the lovely warm water

A well worth visit. Down a metal road which can sometimes be pretty rough. Nice easy walk to the waterfall & pond. To hot to go in the summer time. If lots of rain it is to cold. Good for all ages & free.

Take a torch if going at night. Natural hot springs in a wonderful setting. Bit of a walk to get in but well worth it.
