Enjoyed the abundant floral displays and current artworks throughout the gardens. Walks were easy but a bike would have taken us further along the trail

A lovely place with beautiful buildings and gardens .... but why arent there more freedom camping berths?? ... dont the local council know that tourism ia the life blood of their economy? With the NZ gov trying to develop a higher and more spread tourism...More

What a great walkable garden-the tulips were in bloom for us and the weather was amazing. We then walked along the lake as well.

The gardens are pretty amazing and very well maintained. Sadly the building/museum was closed but still a nice walk on a sunny morning

A beautifully presented and well kept and well manicured gardens that looked gorgeous. A pity the roses had only just started to bud - that rose bed would be stunning in full bloom!!
