Polynesian Spa is New Zealand’s leading international day spa. In a picturesque, tranquil setting overlooking Lake Rotorua, visitors can enjoy a wonderful fusion of relaxing hot spring pool bathing, sumptuous spa and massage therapies and picturesque lake views. Polynesian Spa has the use of two types of hot mineral water, one alkaline and one acidic, that are the unique point of difference of the operation. Many thousands of visitors to the spa have attested to the remedial effect the hot mineral waters have on such ailments as muscular complaints, arthritis and rheumatism. The Priest and Radium springs are most noted in this respect. We invite you to experience this World Top Ten Spa (natural/thermal/medical), as voted by readers of the prestigious Conde Nast Traveller magazine for several years and once again in 2011. We look forward to welcoming you to Polynesian Spa.

Well worth a dip. Very relaxing. The private pools are lovely to relax in looking out over the lake. Only thing I can advise is to drink lots of water before and after. The pools seem to drain all the stress out.

We really enjoyed our Deluxe package, with private pool bathing, 1 hour massage and 1 hour mud wrap. The private pool is absolutely worth the additional cost, wonderfully located on the lake's edge and quite comfortable. The massage room was spotlessly clean with fully renovated...More

Great location but was overpriced. Too many people in one pool. Great view. In depth maintenance is required to make the place constantly clean. Location is good though.

We booked a deluxe private pool for a 30 minute session at night and it was lovely. The pool is set up like a rock pool, has a beautiful view of the lake and was completely private. The main pools looked really busy so I'm...More
