This is my second visit after a 7 year gap and I find it very interesting and enjoyable just to walk around the site.It is well laid out and is well suited for children to visit as they can get close to the animals. Sorry that we mist the lions feeding as I did not want to be feed to... More

Visited with my boyfriend. The lions were amazing to watch and we were fascinated at how social they are. Some reviews have complained about the enclosure etc but i guess when you consider that all these lions were bred in captivity, they wouldn't really know any different and the only time they would be running on the wild would be... we were there on a terrible rainy day but the boys enjoyed it and we are really impressed by the improvements made since last there (at least 5 years ago!) We all had a great time. Pricing is up there though!!! But better value than other attractions around Rotorua.

My toddler loves it here, we always visit and get pellets to feed the animals. I recommend taking sun protection for the parts that aren't covered and pack a picnic

Animals were awesome. Bought the animal food. Trout did not seem impressed by it but the alpacas and goats lapped it out of my hand which was very adorable. Go around 2.30 for the lion feeding. We spent about 3 hours there in the morning and couldn't be bothered waiting for it. Entry is pretty expensive but keep an eye... More

The park is very well presented and the animals are clearly well cared for. An enjoyable half day activity for the entire family. One word of warning - don't bother buying the expensive food packets to feed the animals. With everyone entering the gates buying the animal/fish food at $2 per small 'lolly size bag' the animals (especially fish) just... More

The bit that impressed me is how well kept it all is; no rubbish anywhere, everything seems clean and tidy and feels like the staff actually take a genuine pride in the place. Well done! And no, I don't like seeing captive lions either, but at least they also seem to be well looked after. OK so long as you... More

Was a bit skeptical at first but worth the visit especially with the lion feeding. This happens everyday at 2:30pm. Also being able to feed the sheep and alpacas were very memorable too. Stayed here for nearly 3.5 hours and it was a good way to spend an afternoon in rotorua. A suggestion is to have more choices in food... More
