The bus shuttle up the mountain in the Redwoods forest is the standard fare for a good days riding. You can access a lot of the mountain from this shuttle, though some requires a bit of uphill riding. For a really good time, get on the private shuttles. Old landrovers that take a crew of 7 will get you anywhere on the mountain for 3 hours of awesome downhill riding. Go to the places that take ages to ride to or you can;t be bothered and really shred the trails. Make sure you book as they are very popular and are booked out most weekends.…

simple and easy to use, driver real friendly and played some great tunes. Make sure you tie your bike wheel on, avoid the back of the trailer as the bikes can bounce loose, driver usually checking on that.

Our favourite part of our girls weekend was the bus trip from Rotorua to Waiotapu and the adventure it lead us on. Something nice about a trip in an older bus. I had organised the bus shuttle service as part of a girls weekend. We were riding back to Rotorua along the Te Ara Aha Cycle Trail. Approx 48km to Rotorua Lake from Waiotapu. Sarah drove us up there and helped us with our bikes. The cool thing was she picked us up from our accomodation in the morning. Jeff (company director) gave good advise and great to deal with.
