Beautiful spot to take a break or go for a little hike. Wild hens were strolling around the picnic area and gave us a funny time.

If you are driving by, why not stop here? Easy to park. It looks like there could be nice walks if you have time.

Has a nice short walk to the falls. It's a small waterfall that is in an interesting shape. There are a ton of wild chickens that live around the parking lot/picnic tables that have HUGE roosters in their group, they're really pretty. I would recommend...More

We have seen this river in its full glorey in flood down to a trickle at times, it is where the locals swim and kayak and fish for Eels.

Definitely recommend. It is a beautiful flat walk/hike to the falls. I walked from the city center and it took about two hours to get there. It was very worth it and went really quickly. What I loved about it, were all the changes in...More

Odd I know but the car parks here have chickens roaming them. The waterfalls are picturesque and worth stopping to view

Very ordinary small waterfall. Not worth the time to visit. There are much better waterfalls in the area to spend time at

Noticed sign at side of road. Only a little place but got a lot of people parking to have a look. Good views of the falls and a few chickens running around the car park.

No overnight camping at the car park that I could see when visited last week. There is the Falls Motel & Waterfront Campground on Puketona Road, perhaps look up their website if you’re still interested in a paid camp site...
