We drove to the falls as they were marked on the map as something to visit.
They are nice enough falls, but right by the main road and busy with people. The water looks a bit grubby.

Stopped while on the way to town easy place to see pretty little waterfall several vantage points. Plenty of chickens and roster great you in the car park when you pull up. There is a walk that leads along the river.

No overnight camping at the car park that I could see when visited last week. There is the Falls Motel & Waterfront Campground on Puketona Road, perhaps look up their website if you’re still interested in a paid camp site...
