It was a surprise visit where someone drove me up to this place. It’s been a clear water beach and amazing harbour to visit with a tourist place. A place for scenic views on the boat and nice eatery nearby.

When cruise ships come to the Bay of Islands, they always head for Paihia Harbour and the town of Paihia. They always have a market in the town and there is a very friendly atmosphere.
