This was a great place to have a good look around the views are great and if you know the history it certainly adds depth to the place.

I came to Paihai while doing some volunteer work at the Bay Of Islands Vintage Railway. I am pleased I chose the location, beautiful even this time of you. Good restaurants and many entertainments. Excellent for families. I will be coming back!

What a spectacular location, the gateway to cruising the islands! Had an awesome time topped off with a fantastic cruise on a working tall ship, the RJ Tucker, one of the highlights of our entire NZ trip!!

Small, charming resort that is a great winter base from which to explore Northland. Bet it's busy in summer, but out of season, it's delightful and friendly.
