Absolutely stunning views and worth it..we took around 30minutes to reach the fall and it was amazing...suitable for young kids as the track is not that steep/narrow.. swim is a must if you can handle cold water..we spend almost half a day at the waterfall

Do not attempt to do this walk if your mobility is impaired. If you enjoy walking it is a lovely 45 minute walk along undulating paths. Can get very crowded at the falls and seating is limited.

Great walk very spectacular. Once you get there you can swim in the pool. The walk is not too long or too steep jystbaverage fitness required.

Weather wasn’t great that day however it was a beautiful walk, not tough at all and the falls were spectacular! Would recommend a visit and would go again!

Great walk take about 45mins to 1hour very uneven but a hidden treasure when you arrive . There is a picnic table right at the base of the falls for a packed lunch

The walk in to Shine Falls is relatively easy and children as young as 4 or 5 should manage it. It takes 45 - 60 mins to get there and is worth it. There's not much of a grassy area but plenty of room on...More

Beautiful falls. If you are fit it’ll only take around 35 minutes to reach. Pack some water and fruit, sit on the rocks once you reach the falls and relax!

There is a wow factor to these falls and it's a must do if you are in the region. An hours drive from Napier and approx 5km down gravel road, there is a car park, picnic benches and a long drop toilet. It took us...More
