Walking along enjoying the sea view as well as the interesting sculptures and beautiful gardens along the way. The ocean isn't safe to swim in along here but well worth the walk and leads to the Aquarium and other activities.

We came into Napier a couple of times along Marine Parade. Quaint old houses, restaurants Art Déco fountains, ice-cream shops, a Silver Bullet caravan café and a superb promenade walk make the parade a really interesting feature of the City.

Yes you can. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to town centre or you can walk the other direction and walk to Ahuriri beach front, for cafes, and bars.
