One of the loveliest Beach walks in the country. Complete concrete walk right along sea front, with a lovely sea breeze.

We walked from the aquarium into the city centre. It's a really nice stroll with some nice gardens and art deco houses & picnic areas along the way. A nice wa.y to spend about 30-45 mins

What a nice walk along marine Parade. So much you can do with the activities but also the seating all along. Well looked after too. Did not see any rubbish about. An awesome credit to Napier

What a beautiful waterfront walk! Well thought out design. Pretty flowers, views and interesting statues to look at. I fully recommend going at night too. The fountain puts on a great show. One of my favourite waterfronts in NZ.

Last time we were in Napier we walked along the boardwalk along Marine Parade, this time we had our bikes, so were able to go further. The boardwalks around Napier are excellent, nice and wide for walkers and cyclists to enjoy. Great views all along...More

Marine Parade is the most stunning place to visit and to walk along the boardwalk with the sea beside you. Napier parade has some beatiful old buildings to look at and interesting attractions for the children to look at and to explore

Great waterfront to walk run skate cycle or just hang out. I did the first two activities and was lucky the weather played nice both days. So much to see and do and if you love the water you'll love Marine Parade too.

We walked Marine Parade several times during our stay in Napier and each time we found so many positives. In fact the only negative for us was following a patched gang member on a leisurely stroll. Well done Napier, on maintaining and enhancing your waterfront...More

Yes you can. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to town centre or you can walk the other direction and walk to Ahuriri beach front, for cafes, and bars.
