If you are in Napier, then do take the walk along the seafront. It is delightful, with interesting architecture, gardens, sculptures and of course the Pacific Ocean.

The Marine Parade is a pleasant seafront walk. However, there really is nothing particularly spectacular to see.

Parking available and a great place to stretch your legs, with ocean one side and gardens the other. Information Centre, Tania the mermaid statue, public swimming pool and fountain are all in close proximity along the Parade.

A wonderful little town to explore, plenty of history and easy to find your way around. Good walking too, along the promenade with several little cafes.

Yes you can. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to town centre or you can walk the other direction and walk to Ahuriri beach front, for cafes, and bars.
