Stay in marine parade if you can, it takes you straight into the Town where many of the buildings are of architectural interest and then there are FABULOUS bay views.

The boardwalk gives miles of safe exercise for walkers and cyclists alike. The weather made it hard work but at least the terrain is largely flat

My partner and I regretfully had only one night in Napier. We took a town walk with the Art Deco Trust volunteer in the early evening and it was most interesting and informative. To do justice to Napier more time is needed!

A nice long walk on a sunny day with a good ice cream place near the roller board park made this an ideal place to spend 2-3 hours while visiting Napier

Fun activities and places to visit for families, couples and friends. The beach is not great for swimming. It is nice for a picnic, or bonfires. Great walking path.
