Thank you to Trevor for spending quality time in telling us all about the exceptional wines with such passion and pride. We were very impressed to find such genuine service and beautifully made wines in a unassuming winery. Worth a visit and buy a few bottles for later or as we did joined the Hard Case club.

This winery isn't large but they certainly make up for it with the pleasant welcome and cheery manner in telling us about their wines. We learnt a great deal during the couple of hours we spent here. The enthusiasm and pride that the staff had in their product was very obvious and we came away feeling we had enjoyed a... More

We did a bike wine tour, self led. We journeyed up to this wineyard. Very worth the trip. Wines are vegetarian and vegan friendly. A small boutique wineyard. Our tasting was delivered by a young, but extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional hostess called Grace. We sampled many wines, most of them delicious, in relaxed surroundings. Spent a very nice time... More

We travelled around the various wine regions from north of Auckland to Hawkes Bay (we ran out of time and anyway, the earthquake put paid to any plans for a race south). By far, the best experience we had was at Moana Park Winery - see Rob Taylor if he is working that day). A small boutique winery, it offers... More

We visited here at the recommendation of another winery - sat with the owner who told us all about their wines and how they approach winemaking as an organic process. They are proud of their crop as they use minimal pesticides that do not leave a residue on the fruit. What they use, dissolves before the fruit is harvested. Wines... More

Excellent tour here yesterday. So good to see wine being made on this relatively small scale, but being exported to China because of that market's growing interest in 'naturally' produced wines. Minimal sulphites, and no animal products used in the filtering process. A fascinating tour of the entire process too, one of the few places that do everything from picking... More

Moana Park is by far the best cellar door in the Hawkes Bay. Whenever we stop in, we are always treated personally, never rushed and always leave with the car stocked up! Friends and family love this place when we take them and they always end up shipping plenty of Moana goodies back to the UK. Such great value wine... More

Called as part of a tour with Odyssey Tours (recommend them) - not our first visit to Moana but interesting - shown around the winery and tasted several wines that were very enjoyable. Settled on one and had it while we had a picnic lunch. Very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit
