The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. We can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality they were truly exceptional. There were some fun outdoor games for us to play and most importantly delicious food and wine 🥂. We will definitely be back next time we are in Hawkes Bay 💜

We enjoyed a delicious platter under the shade of some big oak trees. The platter was plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the selection of cheeses, not, in-house breads and fruit. This was a great way to enjoy some wine.

Gorgeous, friendly, welcoming in gorgeous surroundings!
One of-if not, the most enjoyable wineries to frequent in Hawkes Bay.

Amanda was kind, knowledgable, chatty and completely welcoming.

Testing was flexible and met with really informative answers to our questions.

I would book tasking and a platter in advance as they do get busy-especially on weekends during summer holidays.

We have warm memories of this place 11years ago and were not disappointed to return. Our memories are even warmer now.

The young girl who served us was lovely. She was very busy with multiple groups arriving at the same time yet remained attentive to us at all times. Beautiful wine which we had with the baked Brie which was also delicious. Really enjoyed our visit here and would definitely come back. Can’t praise the young lady you served us enough:

worst experience.
I am a solo traveler. I went in for a wine tasting with the hope on leaving with a bottle or two of wine. I asked if the wines on the board where the ones on offer and the lady said :oh nah those are last week ones, ill have to figure out others". I got told to take a seat which was fine got my first wine, I was looking forward to a few samples, then the lady doing the tasting had a private visitor come in to chat about a piece of jewelry, I waited for her to come back with a second option, she looked at me and then keep chatting. so i just got up and left.. will never recommend this place was very disappointed especially with all the tripadvisor awards.

My wife and I went for a Friday lunch. Brendan was a superb host with excellent product knowledge and gave us perfect recommendations for wine and pizza. The wine selection is excellent and the wines we tried were superb.

The pizzas are made on site and are truly amazing. We had the margherita and fennel/pork pizzas - both were brilliant.

We'd highly recommend Moana Park for wine tastings, lunch or both.

Got served by a lady with the BEST dye job. She did a great job telling us about how all the wines tasted differently to each other. She had a real passion and made us and everyone else there feel very welcome. Everyone there was beautiful in their own way. Ordered a Margherita pizza which was pretty good, you could definitely tell it was made fresh and I'm pretty sure the tomatoes were heirloom which was a lovely touch.

We ordered 2x glasses of wine at $8per glass. The choice was $8 or $16
When it arrived it was so bad that we regretted not doing tastings
We were hungry
Ordered pizza then went back in and spoke to the assistant who offered me a taste of the $16 wine but called another to find out which wine was more ‘dry’?!
(Shouldn’t she know if she does the wine tastings?!)
So we had 2x $16 wines that were ok.
The pizzas were ok
But what kind of winery is this!?
Dry or sweet?
Is there not a little more to it?
I would never go back there even if desperate ( sorry - was trying to stay positive)
Tho they have Bec Runga playing there soon- I guess that’s where they offload their terrible $8 wines.
Sorry again . The girl cooking the pizzas was very pleasant.

It was hard to pick from so many possible cellar doors, but so glad we chose this one! Such a welcoming , casual and friendly vibe. Great wines (bought 6 instead of the planned 1!). Tasting selection was tailored on the spot to our preferences. Homemade bread, oil and dukkah is part of the $12 basic tasting. Nothing basic about it! Server sits down with you - chats and informs. A very pleasant change from the more standard experience at other wineries.
