Really nice free activity, lots of plants that you wont see in your garden at home. You can sit on the seats provided and enjoy the plants. More of the plants should be labeled, for example the touch me not plant, if you didnt know you would walk right by.

These historic glass houses are always a joy to visit as the plants regularly change with the seasons. The beautiful deco pools and the fernery are an added treat. It costs nothing to enjoy these beautiful gardens.

I did not know about this little gem hidden in the park and only happened upon it when out walking. It was so wonderful and free entrance was welcome. The flowers are amazing, a lot that i had never seen before. The colours and the fragrance absolutely overwhelming, in a good way. I can't wait to go back here again. It will be on my to do list each time we come to NZ…
