Loved this place. One side there is an expansive beach to wander down, and on the other is black sand dunes that lead down to a hidden lake - fabulous! We took some boogie boards to ride the sand dunes and then took a dip...More

It was windswept and we did the walk on the black rocks around to the next beach. Excellent scenery! The beach and estuary is dog heaven. It was fun watching several of them run like 'a bat out of hell" (hey, what a strange expression...More

We drove to Bethells Beach just to check it out. It was low tide which was great for walking. Apparently very common place for locals to bring their dogs. The cliffs are quite dramatic and there are caves that you can explore.

Caves you can explore, rockpools to climb over and a good amount of beach to run over. This has some lovely spots for wildlife and safe for kids to play.

Great place to go for walks along the coastline, or over to the lake. Nice little food truck there on weekends, with coffee, drinks, food, even pizza. Delicious food, very relaxt.

There are some cool caves on the south end of the beach to walk about in. Some surfers, some fishermen. Lovely views!
