You have to walk a long way up but once your there the view is pretty good and you can see the big statue(?) The area around it looked like from the Hobbit movies :)

This was my third visit and I do love this place. Serene, simple and silence. Had a great time with family today. Thanks for keeping it so pretty and clean.

Wow! No matter how many times we have been atop this Hill, it is always a pleasure! On days without clouds all Auckland looks bright. No worries about vehicles as they are permanently blocked off.

Slightly windy all the time, but popular site for both locals and tourist to see most of Auckland at a height. Plenty of parking but you will have to walk right to the top. Submerge with nature with sheep and cows nearby.

Yes there are suburban bus routes from the city that pass by , but no specific return buses . Depending on which side you start the walk will vary from 10- 15! Mins without photo stops :)
