Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great place to walk and get some exercise. The hill is steep but the views of all over Auckland soon make you forget your tired legs.

Long climb up! I think there is only one way in, through Olive Grove. Get to see sheep along the way. Cool weather and strong winds in early November, saw many locals jogging up and tourists taking the climb.

This is a peaceful place, good sense of countryside. We visited here on our first day in Auckland. The scenery is really great -- very green and hilly. The obelisk is a good point to direct your walk to.

Excellent views across Auckland and beyond. Good paths and facilities available in the park, including ice cream from the creamery.

Good views across Auckland. Although you can walk to the top, it is safer by car. Good place to visit as part of a trip to Cornwall Park.

This is a beautiful park, well maintained throughout, good signage and the views are wonderful. The weather was kind to us with plenty of sunshine but very windy. Be pepafor walk a good walk up to the top and take water, there is cafe and restaurant at the bottom.
This is certainly worth the effort.

We were “killing time” before heading to the airport. A bit of a hike from the parking to the crest. Would not put it at the top of things to see, but nice views.

Taken by coach trip rather than Mount Eden as passengers would not walk to top due to maintenance... gave us an extra sight to see that we wouldn't have otherwise...

This lovely park in Auckland offers a nice experience of an uphill hike in exchange for 360 degrees of viewing Auckland. We visited with a group, but in addition to the monument at the top of the hill and the tree, we saw archery targets and some other sporting activities set up at the base.

This hill is a must for First timers in Auckland. Being one of the highest point, this lookout offers 360 degree views of entire Auckland.

There are plenty of parking on the hill. The one nearest the peak is about 10 minutes walk.

The hill has beautiful park and trees all over. You can have a stroll, bring a picnic mat and sit under tree and enjoy a book or just merely relax and feel the nature. You can bring a bike or scooter as well.

Have a drinking bottle handy so you can relenosh your water on nearby drinking fountains too.
