This is a great park for various reasons. First, it's a great garden and generally has a wonderful display of flowers. It's groomed to perfection, thanks to Auckland Council's dedicated team. The flowers change with the season, so it's always a surprise. It's also a great place for families and friends to meet. It's where people have graduation pictures taken and also enjoy lunch of dry days. It's a great place for some exercise. You can climb up and down steep steps and enjoy flat areas while doing a circuit. It's a great place for a lunchtime walk!

This is a really wonderful park in the centre of Auckland. It is spacious with some lovely gardens and statues. We spent quite some time just wandering around the whole park and enjoying its peaceful. relaxing atmosphere..

This was a pretty park that we wandered through during our walk around Auckland. We started on the University of Auckland side and walked through the park to the Art Museum. Flowers were in bloom and tall, mature trees were nice to see throughout the park. In the center, there was a grouping of cannons next to a small memorial to veterans along with a statue of Queen Victoria. If it wasn’t for the off and on sprinkles then we would have spent more time here since they had lots of benches all around the park.
