Always a buzzy place to visit, but totally fabulous with the America's Cup vibe and activities underway. There was a huge contingent of volunteer ambassadors enhancing the experience, welcoming visitors, interacting and promoting the city and the cup. It was such a great atmosphere. We spent many hours exploring, bar hopping and watching the contenders embark and return from their practice sails. It can be a cool breeze on the waterfront as I discovered, so it is worth having something warm stashed.

The place to be, to get totally ensconced with the Americas Cup festivities. Well done to all the organizers and ‘helpers’. No matter what your age, there is something happening to get all involved. Bring your suntan lotion :o)

We went on our holiday purely for this reason and to say what a fabulous set up is a bit if an understatement! The staff from volunteers, security restaurants and bars, just wow!! Absolutely recommend to anyone travelling to Auckland!

Worth a visit for a walk around, drinking and or eating and soaking up the atmosphere and views of the boats and people. Plenty of food options making it a multiple visit option if you enjoy this special area of the city. The vibes change dramatically from day to night and obviously more party style at a weekend.

Great atmosphere at the village especially on a race day. The volunteer staff are fantastic and it's a great place to wander and soak up the excitement.
