Auckland Domain is situated in close proximity to Auckland War Memorial Museum. A very large open area having multiple grounds (grass covered). We witnessed many people playing cricket matches over there.

I find it a pleasant place to visit. It is very leafy and spacious, and there are heaps of shaded areas which are ideal for picnics.

This is a super big park with great views to the City. There is a fantastic war memorial in the park near to the Museum. This is a water feature as well. Some good views to North Auckland and a nice place for a picnic.
