We went to Waiheke Island and didn't really find any other way of getting there, hence price is quite high. Boat comfortable enough even though crossing was quite rough for us - it serves drink and snacks and they are reasonably priced Waiheke Island is...More

Really there is no better ferry ride than the one from Auckland or Devonport to Waiheke Island. it's always on time and seldom bumpy even in a big sea. One can opt for fresh air of cozy interior with great views; you'll be there before...More

Ferry runs to places like Waiheke, Devonport from Auckland. Good service and enjoyable rides available every 30 minutes (as I remember and check their website anyway).

The Fuller ferries handle much of the ferry traffic business in downtown Auckland. They are cost effective, run often and are easy to use. We wer imprssed on two trips we took.

Our group had most of the day to kill before our flights in the evening so we went to the harbor to see about going on a quick excursion. The customer service person recommended a ferry over to Devonport. She was friendly and helpful. It...More

Arrived early for our ferry only to miss it by staff not changing information boards and calling passengers. No refund available as we had previously booked back in the UK. Otherwise very efficient with good commentary of the tours.

Nice relaxing Auckland Harbor cruise and lovely views looking across to the Harbor Bridge, Auckland and Marina's and the Auckland skyline. The ferries were very comfortable and service was good.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Question for those of you who have used Fullers to visit the various islands... If you had one day to sail from Auckland and visit an island, which island would it be and why? I'm having a hard time discerning which is the best fit for my wife and I. We primarily enjoy a varied experience of "exploring" and "seeing the sites." Thanks

Waiheke island without any doubt. It has the greatest variety of experiences so the best for a one day visit. Food and wine are it's strengths. Rangitoto for a walking experience and Tiritiri Matangi for a nature experience. More
Many thanks for your review - could you advise where you would recommend parking as we are planning on staying over at Waiheke Island for a few nights and want to leave our car at Devonport? Thanks
