I like to do street art tours whenever I can, it is a fantastic way to learn and understand the culture of a city. This one was great, and lasted a little over 2 hours. Uncovered many nooks and crannies of Perth, and street art both official and not. While the pace was not fast, if you are not a strong walker you might want to rethink, or bring a stool. Our guide (shout out to Alex!) tried to find places (and shade!) to sit whereever we stopped, but being a city it is not always a guarantee.

The tour was exactly what my husband and I were looking for to familiarize us with Perth so we could make the most of our limited time here. Alex was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide whose passion for Perth and the surrounding area oozed from her. She provided great suggestions for bars/restaurants/sights in Perth and Fremantle. (they were great because we went to several that she suggested!) Highly recommend this tour and Alex as a guide.

What an absolute buzz. Alex , our guide was friendly, bubbly and knowledgeable. We have lived in Perth for over 35 years and we do visit downtown for shopping, theatre, movies and restaurants. However, walking with Alex, our eyes were opened to new bars, history and street art that we just never knew about. Each bar we visited had a unique character and we were greeted warmly at each venue. The best 3 hour tour I have been on in decades

Such a fabulous tour. Alex was bright and bubbly and so knowledgeable about the history and street art. It was a surprise birthday gift for a friend’s 60th and our group had the best time. Highly recommend the tour and Alex.

It was a great tour with well selected destinations in Perth. We had a perfect last location with a scenic view over Perth. Our guide Alex told us a lot about the history and culter of Perth. I loved the laneways and the scenic view at the end of the tour. She gave us a lot of recommendations where we should go to get more history, culture, good food and drinks.

Hi, I'm a fit 57 year old NZ woman travelling via Perth on my own for just 3 days, Saturday 28th - Monday 30th MAY, this year. I've never been to Perth before, the idea of a walking tour learning about the city, its heritage, culture, café scene - sounds like a brilliant way for me to see and learn lots without being worn-out. Do you do your tours on the weekend or just the Monday (my flight leaves 7.30pm Monday night). Also if I can fit in your walking tour what is the best location for me to be staying in (recommend a good hotel if you're able), I haven't booked accommodation yet. Thanks for your time.

Oh Hey Lyn!
I am so sorry I only just saw this question! The Perth Exploration, covering all you need to know about Perth including history, art, bars, culture, developments etc., runs everyday at 10am.
The tour starts in Forrest Place which is in the central CBD area. Perth is pretty small so anywhere you stay in Perth CBD or Northbridge will be in easy walking distance :)
A popular accommodation option among my tour guests is "Mantra on Murray, however I have no personal experience with it myself.
Please let me know if you have any further questions, otherwise bookings can me made online.
