As a local in town I usually have a pretty good lay of the Land, but the chance to experience my own city as a tourist is and amazing way to show me how much more there is to learn.
This was the fourth tour I have been on with Oh Hey Wa! The Previous was the Small Bar street Art Tours that have been an awesome way to discover my own backyard. Adie with her knowledge of the origin of the murals and artworks along with her Passion for the local buisnesses is second to none but I'm getting off Track.
This experience was the Gin Masterclass with Robyn. Robyn was fantastic guide taking us to 3 venues with tastings at 2 and a cocktail at the other. The grazing boards and pick dishes were delicious and well worth the price per ticket. You walk about 2km total between the bars but even my father with some dodgy knees found it easy enough to make the distances.
I highly recommend getting a group of 6 or more together to get on to one of these masterclass trips. Or jump on one of the regular tours Solo, with a partner or with friends. Learn what Perth has to offer.

I managed to snag myself a spot on the new Ultimate Perth Walking Tour and am so thankful I did. An amazingly informative 2.5 hours was a perfect introduction to Perth for this newbie. Addie did a great job scaling the engagement across the group including teens and was full of energy and passionate about the local area. I highly recommend this to those new to the city as a good orientation (and tips on local gems) but also to locals wanting to know about the cities history.

As a return customer I was keen to try out one of Oh Hey's newest walking tours - the Perth History Architecture and New Developments tour. Over 2.5 hours of easy walking, our awesome and engaging tour guide, Adie, took us across to Northbridge, along back alleys into Chinatown, back down through the shopping malls of the city to end at Elizabeth Quay. She managed to effortlessly pack in heaps of interesting information, sights and stories about Perth and its people, well as answer our questions. Highly recommended, even if you are from Perth and think you know it all.

Had a fab day out on Oh Hey WA’s new ‘Perth History, Architecture and New Developments’ tour today. Loved learning the stories behind some of the public art and developing areas and noticing parts of buildings I’ve walked past hundreds of times. And I even saw a black swan on the Swan River for the first time (in my 41 years, including two years working right on the Swan). Highly recommend this tour, which is the second one I’ve been on with Oh Hey WA.

I’ve lived in Perth for 60 years and learnt more about the city in 90 minutes than I have ever know before. Adie being a “Perth enthusiast” and a bubbly personality was the perfect guide for the Ultimate Perth Walking Tour. Would thoroughly recommend.

Today I did the Perth History, Atchitecture and New Developments tour. Our leader Adie was very knowledgeable and passionate about Perth, it's history, buildings past and present and tales which have made the city. It was refreshing to view the city streets with fresh eyes, at a pace which allowed one to appreciate the detail in the artworks and buildings.
This is not my first tour with Oh Hey WA, I am repeat customer because there is always something new to learn. Hanging with the ladies at Oh Hey WA will put you in a good mood and it is a wonderful way to spend a few hours.

We booked a team building event called the Perth Quest with Oh Hey WA. The tour was very organised, booking was easy with everyone able to book and pay for themselves. They confirmed the numbers a couple of days before so we could book into teams. On the day Ady was our guide and she was great. After some friendly competitions and trivia we went off on our self guided scavenger hunt. We were able to choose which locations we went to and there were lots of opportunities to score extra points. It was a great way to see the city, and learn some history and interesting facts along the way. Despite it being a hot summer day we all had a great time. Would highly recommend this, a great way to spend a morning. Ady is an excellent guide, very funny, friendly and knowledgeable.

Did the No More Blank Walls Street Art Festival tour with Oh Hey WA.
This was my fourth tour with Adie and as usual, it was amazing. So great seeing the artists creating their murals, being able to hear the inspiration for their work and ask questions.
Adie and her team are so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and have great relationships with the artists so you get the inside story.
I would highly recommend Oh Hey WA. I’ve done an urban art and small bar tour, a private kids and parents birthday tour (super reasonably priced) and a heritage tour. Have come a away from each in awe of not only the the art and artists but also of the brilliant knowledge base of the Oh Hey WA team.
Love, love, love the tours and looking forward to the gin tour one day soon.

My wife and I booked the Ultimate Perth Walking Tour at the start of our stay in Perth. The experience was fabulous, we did the tour with Robyn as our guide and she is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, so it made the experience so enjoyable, giving us access to many many attractions that we would never have found had we not done this tour. Robyn provides not only access to so many sites around the city, but also invaluable recommendations for restaurants, cafes, bars and a raft of other attractions. We could recommend this walking tour more highly and consider it a must do if visiting Perth.

Fantastic! I went on both the street art and ultimate perth tours and they were both great value for money. Jess in particular was a fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable and had a great attitude. You hear so much about the city and see so much also. I recommend good walking shoes and a water bottle as 2 hours walking is a bit tiring but overall, I feel I know a lot about Perth.

Live music on a Sunday at Belgian Beer Cafe is always delightful, they also do live music in the courtyard of Bar Lafayette on Thursday nights...

Hi, I'm a fit 57 year old NZ woman travelling via Perth on my own for just 3 days, Saturday 28th - Monday 30th MAY, this year. I've never been to Perth before, the idea of a walking tour learning about the city, its heritage, culture, café scene - sounds like a brilliant way for me to see and learn lots without being worn-out. Do you do your tours on the weekend or just the Monday (my flight leaves 7.30pm Monday night). Also if I can fit in your walking tour what is the best location for me to be staying in (recommend a good hotel if you're able), I haven't booked accommodation yet. Thanks for your time.

Oh Hey Lyn!
I am so sorry I only just saw this question! The Perth Exploration, covering all you need to know about Perth including history, art, bars, culture, developments etc., runs everyday at 10am.
The tour starts in Forrest Place which is in the central CBD area. Perth is pretty small so anywhere you stay in Perth CBD or Northbridge will be in easy walking distance :)
A popular accommodation option among my tour guests is "Mantra on Murray, however I have no personal experience with it myself.
