Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is not a major attraction in Perth but worth visiting when in Northbridge. You can check the website and sometimes they stream free movies and you can relax on a beanbag or bring your own chair. We went here last weekend and the weather was lively and they have this beautiful PERTH sign. You can take nice photos 😊 It’s part of the winterfest #visitperth

Found another colourful Cow Parade cow at the Northbridge Piazza today - just on the corner - near the roundabout.
Tourists were taking snaps of the cow, others were relaxing in the shade, eating lunch or watching the large LED screen.
If you are visiting Northbrige, the Piazza always has something happening day or night.

First time into Northbridge at night for many years....wandered past the Piazza on the corner of Lake and James street.
The large outdoor TV Screen had some entertainment for people to watch as they relaxed on a reasonably warm winters night.
The perimeter has various objects and structures - quite colourful.
Will comeback another night when there is live entertainment provided.

As the other reviewers have correctly pointed out, it seems there is always something going on here whenever you may walk past – yoga, live performance, films, you name it.
I was in town on business and stumbled upon the Piazza by change where an evening screening of Hocus Pocus (90s cult classic with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as a trio of Salem witches) had just started. I ended up taking a spot on the grass and watching with a whole bunch of families, couples and random passers-by. Excellent atmosphere and located right next to a multitude of bars and restaurants as well. It’s worth a walk-by – you never know what might be on at the Piazza!

Being a backpacker on a tight budget, I am always looking for cheap and free things to do whilst travelling. It was great to discover that Northbridge Piazza holds free events for anyone to enjoy.
My boyfriend and I had nothing to do on a Wednesday evening and we discovered that there was a pizza and movie night at Northbridge Piazza. We wondered down and found that there was a local chef doing a cooking demonstration and free samples of his dishes were handed out to the whole audience, for free! The food was delicious and the chef made sure the recipes were simple and easy for anyone to go and make at home.
There are woodfired pizzas to be purchased as well as drinks. The pizzas smelt amazing!
There were a choice of two films to watch and you are required to hire some silent disco style headphones (just a $10 deposit which you get back when returned). You can easily flick between the two films by flicking a switch on the headphones. It was comfortable viewing as there are lots of beanbags and chairs to sit on. I do suggest taking a blanket or towel to put over you as we did get a bit chilly as the evening went on.

Big screen showing free movies and sporting events. A cafe, a micro-brewery is about to open on the square too.
This is a small, but attractive, city square.

The Piazza has a big outdoor cinema that shows not so old movies. What's best about it, is that it's free and a perfect family activity even for those with very little ones. The piazza has bean bags scattered on the lawn which can be used for free on a first come first served basis. In close proximity to the piazza, are a variety of restaurants.
