Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The RAC Arena is a Stadium construction, planned for sporting/ entertainment usage.
Whilst the seating design allows pretty good viewing qualities, the range of eating items is extremely limited, poor quality & very, very expensive. You would be wise to use your credit card carefully lest you get a nasty shock that the cost is comparable to a class restaurant without quality food of drinks.
We recently attended a tennis event this summer and although the volunteer staff were great to help with seating directions, the rest of the Arena staff lacked direction & crowd management.
Security arrangements lacked crowd management skills whilst those who should have been in-charge either didn't vet personnel selection or pre-event training.
What a difference to that of tennis events at the "Dome" many years ago when the was a host of other activity/ presentations/supplementary entertainment.
Absolutely no planning forethought outside the main event. One only has to view event locations such as the Adelaide Tennis, Australian Open [tennis] to see what is provided to attending visitors .
Wouldn't put this venue / event on my "Shopping List'.

Have no issues with the artists, they were amazing, Germain, Toni Childs, Natalie Umbrulia and The Corrs however the acoustics were off and way too loud and the singers voices were distorted and very hard to listen to. Got a massive headache and had to leave early. So very disappointed as we had been looking forward to this event for a long time.

$30 for event parking for Netball, less than 3 hours, shocking price. You'd think the RAC would object.
$ 38 x 3 tickets, plus ticket fee,drinks and food ,it's enough .

Went to RAC Arena for Michael Buble concert. The facility is readily accessed from public transport if required. It is a short walk from the city center hotels etc. This is one of the most efficient arenas I have ever visited - entry and exit was very quick; food and beverage outlets inside are abundant and well accessed; there is an abundance of public toilets and access to seats is exceptionally efficient.

Saw the Eagles last night , the show was ruined by 3 things .
1 the lack of an aircond - it was extremely HOT, people were complaining all night but nothing was done about it.
2 many people using there smart phone to text & take video.
3 drunks who had clearly been served way too much Alchol stumbling over peopke not knowing which row they were going back to , arguing & swearing.
I won't go to the Arena again , too much money for the below standard conditions & lack of any quality of service or duty of care.
Shame on you Arena !

I knew before attending that they only permit bags up to A4 size in the Arena, so I measured my small backpack in which I had a small drinks bag. Entry rules also show unopened drink containers are permitted. On the bag check, even though my bag was half empty and folded to half A4 size, they stretched it out to include handles and all so it wasn't allowed and had to be checked in. My smaller drinks bag was allowed, but not the unopened drinks because they sell them there (I had Coke and they only sell Pepsi, so they don't actually sell there). If I took in my smaller bag, this meant I would have had to check in an empty small backpack, how ridiculous! Also saw a lady have to empty her water container, and it costs $5 for a bottle of water! Many people not happy, having to check in their handbags even. Just something to be aware of. Event I attended was great.

I went to see a show and when I got to my seat I could not sit in it without my feet having to find somewhere to stretch.
Basicially if you have bad knees the best seat you will get is if you go via a wheelchair.
I had to move to am isle seat so I could take the pressure of my knees.
Can not believe that this situation was allowed.
When you book oline you are only offered the best seat that is available
I could see that there were areas that would have suited me better, but how do you know when you are booking on line
I was in Block 202. By the end of the show I had a great deal of trouble walking
Be careful if you have a disability. I will not go back

Cheap Plastic crap seats that are super uncomfortable and you are crammed in like sardines and invading others space. TERRIBLE and will not attend again as the seating ruins the entertainment experience, not to mention the extremely overpriced drinks!!!

Perth Arena really disappointed me. Went to the Andre Rieu concert & I felt so embarrassed that this is what we provide a world class act to perform in. Paying $200 a ticket to sit on plastic hard chairs with no leg room is not acceptable. $9 for a small plastic cup of cheap wine or $8.50 for a plastic cup of cheap champagne! We weren't even told there was a lounge area to enjoy our drink in by staff so we sat with many disappointed others on very limited rows of plastic chairs much like waiting at an airport. Balloons that were meant to be released during the show began falling from the ceiling before the show even began, one at a time. The "snow" that was meant to slowly fall on people looked like it was dumped on them by accident after a while, but I'm not sure if I'm correct with that? Still it shocked the audience a little. The acoustics was absolutely dreadful.... such an incredible shame because Andre Rieu and the JS Orchestra gave it their very best and he even said, "what is this, a hall?" The old Entertainment Centre ran rings around this place and yet it was well know for having bad acoustics. I would NEVER watch a music act there again but would consider going for the tennis, taking my own food and drinks (and a cushion to sit on)

First visit to the Arena, the show was excellent however the seating was cramped and we where on a front row of a block. Very little space to move your legs and the seat was hard causing bum ache after only half an hour.
Impressive building from the outside but just functional inside, $5 for a lime soda got to expect it really.
The money spent on the design and build should have got basic requirements correct! You go there to sit and watch an event so the quality of the seating arrangements should be good, we have been let down by poor design.

Should we drive and park at arena, or do public transport? Going to concert there tomorrow night.

Hi I’m planning on going to a concert at Perth Arena with my daughter, wondering if anyone can comment on the view of the stage from the reserved floor seating.
Written 26 February 2018
This is a tricky one to answer as don't want to mislead you. Depending on how the stage is set up and what part of reserved seating your in could determine the answer. I've been to the Perth Arena a few times, antwhere from sitting close up front to almost the back of the Arena. Each time have still had pretty good views of the stage and have been able to see the performance. They also have big screens in the Arena that you can look upto if needed. Hopefully that has somewhat helped. Have fun at your concert 😀
