A gorgeous park with many European trees. Lots of benchs to sit around the lake. Swings for young kids. Good for running and walking. Dogs allowed in a lease. Grab a coffee from the cafe Chu opposite and soak up the ambience

What can I not say about Hyde Park. Its one of Perths premier centrally located parks with lake, wildlife, beautiful shady trees all with a great walking paths surrounding it. Hard not to enjoy it. On this occasion we just sat on a blanket, ate lunch then walked around, enjoying the scenery. So lucky to have a magnificent reserve so close to a major city and it's free.…

Having visited Hyde Park in London thought it was about time we visited the one in Perth. Despite being a fraction in size of its namesake, it is a gorgeous park. The trees make you feel like you are in a fairy tale. A great spot to get a great feel for autumn.

This is an amazing park at any time of the year. The abundant leafy trees provide an incredible pituresque scenery with a wide array of colour. Being so close to the CBD it's easy to get to. Its great for a walk or for families to picnic in. This also houses a wide range of events so can be entertaining. There is lots of bird and wildlife here as well so perfect for children. …
