An absolutely beautiful memorial located near the top of Kings Park. The memorial is strategically placed in the park to offer magnificent views of the city and Swan River. You can have a quick look or spend some time to reflect upon those to whom the memorial is dedicated

Many people love discovering that when two people stand at opposite ends of the CURVED WALL ... when one whispers ... the other can hear it ... there's a scientific explanation I'm sure - but it's sometime fun we always do when we go there ... enjoy !!

The war memorial has recently been refurbished and is looking great. The eternal flame burns brightly surrounded by well maintained gardens. The view over the river is a sight to behold.

If you make the effort to go to the park, you should go here. It is very well kept. This is only one of the memorials to the various war campaigns that Australia was involved in, that is remembered in the park.

I have reviewed the park elsewhere, so will keep this short. The War Memorial is exactly as expected and overlooks a beautiful vista. Well worth seeing.

Located on Mount Eliza and overlooking Perth Water, Kings Park War Memorial houses the Cenotaph, a well-known city landmark. Erected in honor of all Australian soldiers whose remains are buried elsewhere, the Cenotaph represents an "empty tomb." The view of Perth city from the top is amazing! A must visit if u are in Perth for sure!

It covers the war memorial and more. Worth spending some time at this location to sit and reflect, plenty of seating around it for a picnic, the eternal flame in the central pond burns bright!

When in Perth during weekends try going to Kings Park but go to the Best way which is through Jacob's Ladder you'll get some exercise and a nice view. Going around the park you'll see memorials that will give you a brief history of Australia.

A great place to view the city and river from high above. Sit on the curved "whispering wall" and watch the eternal flame, while you listen to those around you. Picnic in the shade on the grass with parking and food nearby.
