My early fathers day present was a visit with family to hear Beethoven played and sung with much gusto and passion as we were led through the 8th and the brilliant 9th symphony. I had not seen the principal conductor, Asher Fisch, leading the WASO before, but give the man his due, he knows his Beethoven and wrung out an... More

The recent WASO Beethoven festival was impressive - the orchestra and chorus were truly exceptional! A real buzz amongst the audience at the end of the concert!

MY wife and I love the WASO, and usually go to 2 -3 concerts each year. Never less than really good, and sometimes brilliant. Perth Concert Hall is comfortable, and the acoustics are superb! The bar though is overpriced. The wines are very ordinary. Staff are professional and friendly. Highly recommend a concert visit.

How lucky we are in WA to have this wonderful orchestra to inspire and entertain us. The standard of their performances is world class, and the acoustics of the Perth concert hall is brilliant.

Just an outstanding way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Perth. oven's Ninth conducted by Asher Fisch with a 100 piece WASO Choir of extraordinary volunteers. Held in the Perth Concert Hall that is due for an updated paint job and the odd sweep of the stage.Overall a splendid experience.

Magnificant - all 9 symphonies over two weekends. Asher Fisch a most dynamic conductor who seemed to inspire the orchestra to great heights. Some of the orchestral parts required real virtuosity and the members of the orchestra rose to superlative heights.

Their Dec outdoor concert was excellent. Worth making the journey. Enjoyed every moment. The last piece was fantastic. Going again this year.
