Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This designer retail shopping centeis grossly over hyped. I made a brief 2 hour visit & was overall disappointed. Nice luxury brand names. No coffee shops & the food outlets were really disappointing mainly due to te high rentals. Ask yourself why there's a mobile coffee wagon in the car park? Answer because the owner can't afford a unit inside as it's not profitable. The only place to buy a coffee is the Lindt chocolate shop where they also ha ve a bargwain deal of choc boxes for only $10 so bought 3! Alsobought a nice swearshirt from the Adidas shop. Not worth goinhg out of your way for though.

we began our Meat Box journey at Anatolya Kebabs & Grill at DFO. This meat box was prime of example of never judging a book by its cover. This meat box was served looking like a bit of a mess, but oh boy did it did not disappoint! The chip to meat ratio was very close to perfect! The chips were seasoned perfectly and were crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy in the centre! The meat held great flavour and was incredibly succulent although being slightly cold. The melted cheese between the meat and chips was melted magnificently and was beautifully stringy! Overall we were impressed with our first meat box for this page, with a reasonable price and filled us up!
Price: $14.50 (including cheese)
Rating: 7.5/10

I’m wondering if they built this to compete against other major cities with a DFO factory outlet equivalent, or provide a more complete shopping experience. Perth already has Watertown which is on the western edge of Perth city and has a free regular bus service to the centre, whilst you need a car or 30+ minute public transport bus trip to get to DFO. It’s not necessarily convenient, although it has some pretty good shops here.

Prices can be hit and miss, as it’s not just a factory outlet. Some of the stores seem to have the latest merchandise as well.

For me, Watertown is more convenient.

Definitely can’t compare to Melbourne DFO but I like it cos it has the brands I like. It’s near the airport and there’re lockers for d luggage. Many popular brands such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy, Kate Spate, Coach, Rip Curl, etc. Good discount for Tommy, PRL, Kate Sp but not Coach. If you’re there to buy something make sure you spare minimum 3 hours there. We spent 5 hours to shop till we dropped.
But the food is not nice. Walk to the big supermarket opposite there’s a sushi counter with better sushi. But all close at 5pm. If you have time, spend 1-2 hours to shop at d supermarket which close later than 6pm cos they have marked down price too. We bought so many coffee capsules, timtam, even portobello mushrooms 😄

Obviously with shops being 'outlets ', we thought that prices would be greatly reduced. Sales were on and the designer shops had good reductions. But slightly disappointed, considering the paid parking, limited shop choice and high cost on goods, and very poor service and food on offer in the sit down cafe, we will.not return. Definitely better choice and shopping experiences in the many shopping centres in and around Perth.
The Lindt shop is worth a mention as it stacks up.to it's reputation of excellence in service, choice and value . Had we known it served hot and cold drinks, something that the sit down cafe did not, we definitely would have spent our money on drinks. They even gave away free chocolate bunnies on every chocolate purchase made!

Our flight back home is at 9.30 pm, have 4 hours to spare at Perth international airport. How to kill time, perth airport have almost zero shops. I accidentally came to know about DFO mall with many retail shops from branded goods or local goods selling at a bargain. To go there is convenient, took the bus transfer to T3/T4 (20 mins), transfer to another bus which move around the carparks A, B, C and D. Drop at carpark D, and walk for 10 minutes and there the big shopping center, FOC. Save monies on taxi or uber which may 20$ one way.

Needed to get some stuff before we head the road south. This place is have all sort of stalls and brands, similar to dressmart in NZ. Sales tags were everywhere which gives great value to the products. There is a food hall at one corner of the place with good enough selection of quick meal and coffee. Its like a warehouse and fully sheltered from the elements.

This outlet mall is quite close to the airport. Quite a fair selection of shops for a range of different things. I quite like the food court area with the wood and the windowed outdoor areas. The mall itself was quite large so it doesn't feel cramped and there is quite a bit of parking around.

Had lunch there at midday 10/3/2022. Watched as DFO cleaning staff used a rag to clean at least a dozen tables without using an alcohol based spray or any other disinfectant after washing each table without rinsing and washing the rag.
I also noticed there were no spray bottles on work stations or with other cleaning staff in the food mall.
Where are the cleaning protocols especially with Covid 19 so easily being spread via surface contamination?
Reported to management via the information desk near an entrance point. The lady was surprised about the health matter and was going to follow it up immediately.
My wife and I made sure we used alcohol wipes to wash our hands prior to eating and well as afterwards at the food court.
Beware!!
Oh and then observing the number of customers wearing masks under their nose!!
No wonder this virus is spreading so quickly in Perth!!

Disappointed- went to a specific shop, Ringers Western, but when got there it was already closed for the day and the girl shook her head and wouldn’t let us in. This was at 4:45pm. Says on the website it doesn’t close until 6pm. So pretty annoyed… should change your closing times if your going to close early.
