Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The BHP Water Park is a series of fountains and water jets which appeal mainly to the younger set. Children have a great time chasing the water and getting soaked. Kids love running in and out of the water jets. It's a commendable way for BHP -- known as the Big Australian -- to give something back to the State that has created so much wealth for its shareholders. BHP is the world's biggest mining company, I'm sure its shareholders can spare a few thousand to sponsor the Water Park. By the way the water park is in the Elizabeth Quay complex, on the Swan River foreshore.

Undercovered water fountains, not too high in order to even make the experience of running through the water for toddlers possible. Great to see the kids enjoying themselves. After dark beautifully illuminated in a corner near the port basin.
A pity the small park is named after a big mining company.

My 2.5yr old absolutely loves spending hours running in and out of the fountains - in fact we now pack her bathers to spend time here every time we visit the city - such a great space for kids with lots of shade and V-Burger is next to the park to grab a yummy lunch while I watch 😀 great way to cool down on a hot day and it’s free!

The kids love the BHP Billiton Water Park. First of all they have lots of shade. This is a must for Perth.
Kids could go to this Water Park for free. The waters would stop at one place and in another place it would continue with its dancing waters.
I saw so many kids having fun.
The parents were sitting and enjoying to see how much their kids likes it.
Worthwhile to see!

No you will need to use one of the carparks nearby (about 200m away, approx 5mins walk) and then walk down to the Elizabeth Quay area where the water park is located. There are some parking bays around the edges of Elizabeth Quay but they are pickup/drop off bays only (15mins maximum or 1hr for ACROD holders)
