I have been on a lot of wine tours over the years and always choose small tour group experiences as they are more personalised and avoid the big party bus crowd atmosphere. Of all the small group wine tours I have been on this was the absolute best tour I have experienced. Tim who owns and runs the tour company was great with his communication prior to the tour, took us on tour and was highly entertaining and informative throughout the day. His knowledge of the region and wine making was exceptional as was his attention to detail to make sure everything ran smoothly. He made us feel incredibly welcome and had a great time not only chatting with him but all of the other guests on the day (we were a group of 8 guests in total). The wineries we visited were all hand selected and the quality of the wines was exceptional. Lunch was the best meal we have had since we have been in Perth and a visit to the chocolate factory to sample some locally produced chocolates was a great way to finish up the day. The hotel pick up and drop off made everything so easy and we could relax and enjoy the day. Thanks Tim for such a wonderful experience it was a highlight of our trip and we will be recommending you to any of our friends who come to visit Perth

We can’t recommend Tim highly enough - his service was faultless! Tim worked professionally with us to build our own Swan Valley wine tour, expertly incorporating some venues of our request with some great recommendations of his own. Tim was friendly, fun loving, knowledgeable and attentive all day, working tirelessly to ensure our day was perfect. He even carried our wine purchases to the bus for us. His knowledge of wine and the Swan Valley was exceptional, all venues were wonderful and our lunch was delicious. Our group had such an amazing day that we plan to book again later in the year!

Hi Siobhan thank you so much for the wonderful review - it was an absolute pleasure to be able to organise a private tour for you and your colleagues/friends to the Swan Valley and I am so glad to hear that you had such a great day! I was so glad to be able to create an itinerary that incorporated some of your favourites Swan Valley venues with a few of my recommendations and it was certainly a great mix of venues and experiences throughout the day. The entire group was perfect company and it was such an enjoyable day from start to finish. A big thanks to you personally for organising the tour on behalf of your group and I certainly look forward to arranging the next event with you soon. Tim was a very knowledgeable and personable your guide. We visited 4 great, boutique wineries and received great quality wine and food, interspersed with good chat and knowledge about each winery on the drive between. Max 10 people per tour means that there's no getting lost in a huge number of people. An excellent experience from pick up to drop off.
Also received a text a few days later thanking us for coming on the tour and remembered details of our situation. You don't get that level of personal service from a big tour.
If you like wine and like a personalised and knowledgeable tour then Best of Perth VIP wine tour is the one for you. Without a doubt.

What a tremendous introduction to the Swan Valley. Tim hosted a super day which included great boutique wineries; quality lunch and most importantly entertaining and expert commentary. As Chair of the National Wine Show of Australia I am very fortunate to experience many quality wine tours. I would highly recommend this tour to those new to wine through to those with decades of experience under their belt. It is definitely value for money!!

This small group tour is one of the best day tour Ive taken. Not only was I picked up right from the hotel door Tim the owner of the company actually guides and escorts his own tours. He does this to ensure 100% quality and ensure everyone is well informed and looked after. Being a small group we were able to visit and experience some of the oldest wineries and meet the generations of families that have run these smaller wineries that the big groups can’t access. The wine, tastings, cheese platter and lunch was way more than expected. It was such a personal experience and Tim was a fantastic guide I would recommend this tour to everyone.

4 vineyards visited in one day was just perfect for tourists wanting to get most of their time ! Also meeting new people at lunch was wonderful as the tour was so multicultural ! You would be able to taste a variety of reds and whites as well as sparkling and fortified wines and if you wish you might be able to buy them on the spot !

Had a brilliant day out with friends in the Swan Valley. Thanks to Tim for all the planning and booking to devise an itinerary to meet our group’s wishes. On the day the bus was clean, cool and comfortable and Tim was friendly, accomodating and attentive making sure we had the best of days. Would definitely recommend Best of Perth Tours!

Fantastic tour. Thank you to our tour guide Tim for a fun and informative day. Great selection of wineries and lovely lunch at Mandoon estate. Prompt pick up on the day. Having done many wine region tours this one was certainly made a more personal experience. Would recommend Best of Perth tours 😁

We had a fantastic day out with Tim. He was a wealth of information about the surrounding district and the wineries themselves. The wineries chosen were carefully picked for a fabulous boutique experience supporting family run businesses. Lunch was great and it was really nice to be a part of a small group. We absolutely recommend spending a day with Tim.

This was a great tour and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Tim is an awesome host and with the small group is very intimate and friendly. Katrina at Garbin Estate Winery was fantastic, friendly and fabulous wine. Also loved Ray from John Kosovich Wines. Again great wine. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Perth. Thank you again Tim and will sing your praises.
