It was an excellent small group tour. Tour started at 11:30am we returned home at 11pm, the tour guide, driver, narrator all in one Mr Gavin was an excellent person, all along the tour he gave very lively commentary on history of the land & its people, provided a lot of information about flora & fauna. in Lancelin he guided the sand surfing. In the evening we had the Sunset tour in the Pinnacles desert (hundreds of limestone pillars protrude from a vast yellow desert.), Nambung National park, followed by a great dinner while observing the stars, we could observe the 'globular cluster' through telescope. The sky was perfectly clean, we could had the glimpse of the stunning view of the Milky Way galaxy. It was an excellent tour. I recommend this trip to people who love landscape, love to see stars. To have a good experience, one need to check the weather forecast, clear days are perfect for this tour.

Hi there, thankyou so much for taking the time to do your review, we really appreciate it. Fortunately most of the bad weather goes around the Pinnacles Desert so we don't get too many bad nights for stargazing. Even on days when we have terrible forecasts mother nature is usually kind enough to give us a view of the stars at some point in the evening. Safe travels.

Gavin was very accommodating in getting me on the tour. Mother nature didn't work in our favour with inclement weather and the tours had to be postponed twice because of this. Gavin did his best to get me out to The Pinnacles by shuffling other guests around to make the trip possible. It was a great tour with plenty to see and do. Gavin was very knowledgeable about the local areas and provided a lot of information about the heritage of the areas both from local indigenous tribes to the early settlers from overseas.

Once out in The Pinnacles Gavin set up the telescope and binoculars so we could view the night sky and we were even lucky to see the rings of Saturn. The dinner cooked by Gavin was top quality and there was ample food for all guests. If you ever get the chance to head out to The Pinnacles, I highly recommend going with Gavin from GPS Tours. You won't be disappointed!

Four friends and I went on the Lumineer Adventure Tour to the Pinnacles on a Sunday. We cannot recommend the tour highly enough. We were picked up on time and dropped off as scheduled. The bus was comfortable with some individual seats and other seats for two persons. Much to our surprise, although it was on the itinerary, we went sand boarding. It was hard to believe as three of us were over 70. This was well worth doing and a lot of fun. Gavin was very good with organising this and encouraging us to give it a go and we were very glad we did. Later in the tour he was knowledgeable in explaining the uses of native plants. He also told us some little known facts of the history of WA. The highlight was the Pinnacles. Although I had been there several times on my own, I had never seen the area where he let us off the bus to do some exploring. The meal was delicious and allergies and gluten free requirements were well catered for. It was a terrific day and even though there is a lot of driving involved, Gavin was an excellent driver and we all felt very confident with him

Don't read the reviews - Book before you miss out!! I'm so glad Mum (75 year old) and I booked this trip. We've been on many tours and seen a lot of the world, but nothing like this! The unique landscapes, sunset, night sky and serenity speaks for itself.
(Google photos, see other tour providers). Gavin made this a memory of a lifetime. Small group. Personalised service the entire time. Knowledgeable. Great desert bbq. Blankets, binoculars and telescope provided. Excellent commentary. Complimentary photos provided at completion. Great stops along the way to sandboard, learn about Aboriginal food and stroll an untouched beach. Hotel pick up and drop off. The service was second to none. If you go anywhere else you'll get a crowded, very low second best.

The trip to see the Pinnacles at sunset, including dinner and a sandblasting diversion, was first rate. The drivers/were very knowledgeable and friendly and the Pinnacles themselves are breathtaking, especially as the sun goes down and the stars come out. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who loves starry nights. We both loved the experience, sand dune surfing and getting to know about Bush Tucker. The grand finale was beautifully done with a nice dinner and admiring the pinnacles as the sunset set and the stars appeared. The tour guide is really knowledgeable, and he made the experience unforgettable! We're both from Perth, so it was nice to see the Pinnacles through the eyes of a tourist. Don't hesitate, just book and you won't regret it. Thank you Lumineer tours!

A great day out in our own backyard. A great way to spend time playing and seeing nature in all its splendour.
Grab a bite to eat at the Lancelin Bakery before having some fun on the sand dunes.
We got to check out some wildflowers and views at Hangover Bay as well as learning about aboriginal culture and their use of native plants.
We were lucky to see kangaroos and an emu and fox on the trip as well.
Once we got to the Pinnacles we enjoyed time to wander through the area taking in the view and taking happy snaps while Gavin set up and cooked dinner. We enjoyed our meal watching the sun set and as the stars came out we got to see them through binoculars and planets through the telescope. Just awesome…..Thanks Gavin we had a ball!

This was a great experience. Gavin was extremely knowledgable which made the experience even more enjoyable. The journey was broken up with a stop for coffee and food if needed. Then the sand boarding at Lancelin. This was so much fun however some of the higher dunes were not to be used due to rocks so the rides were a little short. We did get a few turns. Further on we stopped again and walked to the lookout. Gavin also pointed our some plants used by the indigenous community for eating and medicine. I found this really interesting. Next we arrived at the pinnacles. We had seen the Pinnacles before but they never cease to amaze me. We had not seen the sunset and this is something not to be missed. The different lights that are produced are amazing and the colours are constantly changing. Dinner was a cooked for us on the bar-b-que. There was delicious salads as well as a glass of wine to accompany the meat and the vegetarian patties. Unfortunately the sky was not as clear as we hoped but with the telescope provided it was interesting to see the moon so close. We were also given binoculars to search the sky ourselves. Gavin was extremely knowledgable about the night sky and he pointed out the constellations that were visible and the position of the ones that were not so clear. The whole experience is well worth the long journey. So do not miss out on this fantastic experience.

It was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on and would 100% recommend this tour to people of all ages. We saw some magical places- the sand dunes were so fun and the Pinnacles were breath taking.
