Experience the wonder and enjoyment of a traditional Venetian Carousel right here at Elizabeth Quay. The Elizabeth Quay Carousel has been brought to the Perth waterfront by local jeweller Rohan Milne, of bespoke jewellery boutique, Rohan Jewellery. After visiting a similar carousel with his family in Spain and experiencing the fine artisan work in person, Rohan was inspired to bring a similar joy to the people of Perth and visitors from around the world who can now experience this creation themselves. Built in the Veneto region of Northern Italy, the Elizabeth Quay Carousel has a combination of horses and carriages with hand painted Venetian artworks. It has been created by some of Europe’s best artisans and is set to traditional carousel music, which is sure to delight both the young and young at heart. Such a beautiful and colourful carousel overlooking Swan river! We went on for a ride at sunset and absolutely loved it! Thank you for bringing back my childhood memories!

I personally think that sunset is one of the best times to visit, the sky fills with colour, and as it begins to darken the lights on the Carousel come alive!

The Elizabeth Quay Carousel is for little kids. Any child over 1.1 meters (3 and a half feet) can ride by themselves, below that they need a grown up to supervise. It's not an expensive ride -- $5 for one ticket, $12 for three. The kids have a great time. The Carousel is a vintage model that is open every day of the week. The main attraction are the rising horses, although there are benches as well. I was there for Western Australia Day, everyone was having a great time, even though the weather was a little drizzly. The WA Day organisers have obviously scored a hit, it was a great day out for the people of Perth. The queue for the Carousel moved quickly, no one had to wait too long.

This was so cute. At the Elizabeth Quay, there is a lovely carousel. It is mostly for kids. They certainly like that. Parents at time also participates. That was so cool!
I enjoyed the view with the carousel and took some pictures.
It was worthwhile!
P.S. I took some close ups of the Carousel, but I cannot find them any longer.

Absolutely beautiful carousel. Our kids loved it. They have horses to sit on and carriages/ seats. $5 per person or $12 for 3 children.

Took my 3 girls to Elizabeth Quay for the day. As soon as the spotted the carousel that’s all they wanted to do.
Was great value for money, and the girls loved it. Well maintained and the staff were very friendly.
Highly recommended.

$10 well spent on a lovely afternoon ($5 per person). It's a pretty carousel with beautiful hand painted horses. Heard the carousel was built and shipped all the way from Italy. It's really a beauty.
