We had a fantastic day with Paul in the beautiful Bickley region. So many good wines and gins to try and stunning scenery. We will be getting Up Close and Local again.

Paul gave us an excellent tour from Perth to four Margaret River wineries. It was a long day (12 hours) but that was due to the driving distance (3 hours each way). We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Vasse Felix and even managed to fit in a brief visit to Busselton Jetty. The vehicle was comfortable and Paul was a knowledgeable guide but didn't overwhelm us with irrelevant information. Would use "Up Close & Local" again. Communication with Sharon to set up the tour was prompt and accurate.

Excellent private local tour of 3 wineries and a cider making site in the lovelyBuckley Valley area with very knowledgeable guide who knows the local scene well. Lovely cheese platter lunch on terrace. If you have a Friday free you should do this!

We were a group of 6 and did an all day tour with Shannon. We were picked up and dropped off to our accommodation which was very convenient for us! The tour van is very spacious, comfy seats and great air conditioning. We had a lovely day visiting 4 beautiful wineries in the Swan Valley. Shannon is very knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and easy going. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the tour and were very appreciative of Shannon's wine experience and knowledge. We had a great time and would highly recommend Up Close and Local Tours over other tour operators!

Shannon was a fantastic host and we were impressed with the wineries she organised for us to visit. The chartered wine tour in the Bickley Valley was well organised (no rushing) and we enjoyed it so much, we already plan to return and try a few more venues recommended by Shannon.

Such a great afternoon out with great company. Paul was an easy-going, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, and the staff at the boutique wineries were lovely and helpful. The pickup location was easy to get to and we were even dropped off at the door of our hotel afterwards. Highly recommended!

One of the best tours I have ever been on without a doubt. Bought as a gift to my partner for Xmas. It is the second Tour we have done with Paul. Paul is a fantastic host and his knowledge of wineries in WA is second to none. We had such a great time. The wine blending was so much fun and we learned a lot as well. The bonus was we took away with us 3 bottles of delicious wine that we made ourselves (to our own taste). What a fun day out!!! We had the most delicious lunch as well. Do yourself a favour and get on board, it is a great gift to give and to get.

We had the best time on this experience and can thoroughly recommend Up Close and Local Tours. Shannon was a delightful and knowledgable host and her organisation of the entire day was faultless. We met committed wine makers, tasted wonderful wines & cider, had a delicious lunch and enjoyed the drive around this little gem of a wine area. There were four of us in our party which was the perfect number for us, and we have already signed up to our next Bickley Valley experience!
