Lancelin Dune sand boarding

We had an amazing time, staff were helpful and the weather was excellent. Not too windy. My only suggestion bring water, no beverages on sale.

It was a great activity for all of us the youngest being 6.

Crap and boring

One of the most dissapointing things I’ve ever done, wouldn’t go any faster than 20kmh and for $250 is a total waste of time,my daughter could ride faster on her push bike. Very annoyed and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

Really disappointing and a waste of money

Terrible experience. Went up there with kids and half of the bikes didnt work so we spent an hour sitting on the sand at the foot of the first dune. The young French guys who work there are great and doing the best but the equipment - bikes helmets goggles - is in terrible condition. No refund and no offer of a replacement ride. Emailed multiple times about a replacement ride and no response after a couple weeks. Waste of $500.

Cancellation 1 hour in advance. Do not go

We booked 2.5 hours of motocross for 3 people. We rented a car to get there and they cancelled 1h before the start. Not professional at all. It's not the first time this has happened.

Booked on their 2 seater buggy x 2 as the 4 seater are not available on weekdays! Great adventures and tours around Lancelin. Staffs are nice and good. Worth it 👍🏻

I definitely recommend. It was so much fun, I will definitely go back. Would love to go after a bit of rain, just to add more fun to the experience.

Avoid during school holidays

Don't go during school holidays. Staff are unprepared for large numbers of people. You will be waiting in line 30 minutes to check in, then be on a tour with 35+ other quad bikes, only be out for 45 minutes when you pay for 60, then wait in line again for 30 minutes to get your driver's license back & $250 bond credited back to you.

Bikes are also very beat up, clearly they never make repairs despite the bonds people must be forfeiting when they roll or crash the bikes.

No reply to email and suggestion they send out smaller groups more often so people can actually enjoy the amount of time they pay for and not stand around for a full hour for the privilege. If you do brave school holiday crowds, make sure you have lots of time up your sleeve as tour will not leave anywhere near the stated time, although they will cut it short and have you back early so you can wait in line again for your licence.

We enjoyed this the first time we went with this company, but after this second time would not go back. Felt like they had no idea how to manage school holiday crowds. They need online waiver system as well which would save heaps of time and have more staff during school holidays. Felt taken advantage of.

We booked for 2 online. Easily to find.
The staff is very friendly. Before to go, the guide give a good safety briefing and then led us on an expedition of the dunes. It was a really good experience, I recommend it !

Misleading prices

Don’t buy from Tripadvisor/ Viator, misleading pricing. They show a dollar sign ($) in front of the price and advertise it as “lowest price guarantee”, once you purchase it the charge on your credit card is in American dollar. Dodgy and dishonest. Cheaper buying direct from the service provider.

Groups should be smaller (too many vehicles at once).
Guides are friendly and the instructions are simple and clear.
