This historical walking tour rates as one of the best I have ever taken part in, and I have been on a good few across the world. Will takes you to many spots in the Town Beach area, and then brings Broome to life through stories. At the same time as telling the story, he shows you a picture of the location you are seeing at that point in history. The result - Broome's colourful and unique characters and scenes leap fully formed into your imagination. A wonderful morning. And it was clear that we could have spent two days with Will and not come even come close to exhausting his repetoire.

Will is passionate font of knowledge about the three fascinating chapters in Broome’s history.. We were moved to tears, heartbroken and appalled in turns during the riveting 2.5hr tour... Will is the master weaver of beguiling mysteries and jaw-dropping facts in the revelation of the twists and turns of the Characters about whom he talks. An absolute must-do when you’re in Broome.. you will seriously never view this beautiful place the same again! Astounding in every aspect!

Looking for a walking talking encyclopedia of Broome's history? Find Will and this tour! This was a wonderful, fun, interesting morning walk around the beautiful town beach area of Broome. So rich in history I had goosebumps at times with Will explaining the history of where I was standing. It was quite a warm day so Will chose a shady route which was an easy walk of around 2 hours. With Wills enthusiasm, passion and encyclopedic historical knowledge, the time flew by too quickly. Ending at the Historical Museum we were able to potter around and learn a little more about this amazing place and its rich history. Thoroughly enjoyable morning and a great way to kick off your adventure to Broome. A real must do, thanks so much Will.

The tour was a really great background to Broome’s settler history, especially pearling and WWII. Wil was full of an amazing stash of knowledge, told via engaging story-telling and enthusiasm. He was very generous with his time, giving us well over the allotted time. Free entry to the museum afterwards wrapped up an exceptional morning. Thanks heaps Wil!

There is so much more to Broome than pearl shops and camel rides on the beach. Will immersed us in Broome’s amazing history, full of larger than life characters. We try and read as much as we can about the places we visit, so some of the stories were familiar to us, but Will really brought it alive. You can use your passouts to return to the museum the next day to really absorb all that rich history. We expect to dream tonight of strolling on the mangrove foreshore amongst the luggers.
