We did a private tour of the Bungle Bungles with Kerry. Nothing was too much trouble. Walks were adjusted to cope with my rather slow pace without compromising our experience. When our vehicle suffered a major fault just past Halls Creek, Kerry arranged for her husband Ed to bring a replacement vehicle from Broome. This meant we had to spend a night at Halls Creek instead of at the Bungles, and start early the next morning. This all happened seamlessly but in consultation with us.
The accommodation was comfortable if a bit dated. Just bear in mind that this is a very remote part of Australia. The food was excellent - both that provided by Kerry and the meals at the hotels.
The Bungle Bungles themselves were amazing. We did the 42 minute helicopter flight and would strongly advise anyone to do the same. It really is the only way to fully appreciate this magnificent place.
We would thoroughly recommend InStyle Adventures for travel in the Kimberley.

We just finished the most amazing small group (4 x couples) tour that started in Broome & finished in Kununurra over 7 days. Our tour guide Ed was great value, very friendly, easy to get along with & suggested rotating front seats which provided everyone a chance to get to know each other during the longer drives. We started our trip with a nice drive out to Derby before boarding a sea plane to the Horizontal Falls followed by a night on a luxury houseboat. Stop overs included Fitzroy Crossing, Mt Elizabeth station, Bell Gorge, El Questro/Emma Gorge, Kununurra & Bungl Bungles. There were many attractions on the way each day to break up the trip. Highlights was the Bungle Bungles & Horizontal Falls but the whole itinerary was so carefully thought out & lived up to all expectations. Ed was always thinking ahead making sure we were well informed of the next day activities prior to retiring for the night. He was a lot of fun during the trip & loved the banter between the group. We can highly recommend Ed & the InStyle team for your upcoming adventures, they will not disappoint. Thanks again Ed, we loved our Kimberley adventure & made some wonderful new friends that we can check in with when passing their way. Ken & Deb 😊😎🍻☀️

What an incredible way to immerse yourself in the Kimberley experience! We cannot thank our guide, Rod, enough for tailoring our once in a lifetime trip to this remote area to suit our needs. Rod shared his vast knowledge at every opportunity, whether painting the vast dynamic history of the geology and topography of the area, or historical details both recent or long past, or the encounters with the local flora and fauna up close. His driving skills (and culinary knowledge of the legendary “wrap”!) were second to none and we felt we were in safe hands the whole time. If you want a bit more luxury than the big group bus tours, and a tailored trip to suit your interests and style, then this is the trip for you. Thanks Rod for making this bucket list journey so memorable and fun!

We had the pleasure of doing the 4 day Kimberley adventure with Ed and can't speak highly enough of the tour, our guide, the amazing experience and the value for money. There are no other tours in the Kimberley that can offer this experience and can be tailored to your interests.

What an amazing trip into the Bungle Bungles.Kerry our guide was absolutely fantastic. The scenery & experiences were beyond our expectations. If you want to see the Kimberley Instyle Adventures are the way to go. Accommodation, staff & food was exceptional. 5 star rating overall.

Our 11-day Kimberley hiking trip with InStyle Adventures and our guide Rod was absolutely amazing! The private small group setting allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the stunning beauty of the Kimberley region.
From Broome to Kununurra via the legendary Gibb River Road, we embarked on a series of exhilarating hikes, each one revealing a new facet of the Kimberley's natural beauty and rich Indigenous heritage. From the rugged gorges of Windjana Gorge National Park to the majestic UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bungle Bungle, every step was a feast for the senses. Rod's extensive knowledge of the region's flora, fauna, and geological formations added depth to our experience, making each hike not only physically rewarding but also intellectually stimulating.
Rod was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly funny, engaging and accommodating. He made the entire experience even more enjoyable with his witty anecdotes and lively personality.
The accommodations provided by InStyle Adventures were top-notch, ensuring our comfort and relaxation after a long day of hiking.
The entire trip was filled with unforgettable moments, from swimming in crystal-clear waterholes to witnessing the vibrant sunsets over the vast Kimberley wilderness. Our three person, 11-day 4X4 drive from Broome to Lake Argyle, arranged and conducted by Ed Bennett of InStyle Adventures, was everything we wished for and more. It was early in the season (the second week in May) so there were not so many tourists around and the newly graded unsealed roads made driving the Gibb River Road relatively comfortable.
InStyle Adventures designed an itinerary which included so many of the Kimberley’s outstanding natural features. One was the Bungle Bungles and a recommendation to take the longer helicopter flight, which was awesome. Unprecedented flooding earlier in the year meant we couldn’t get into some areas, but we were kept fully informed, and those destinations were switched for other wonderful experiences.
Ed’s knowledge and understanding of the land we traversed and the sites we visited, and his empathy for its culture and history, gave us a far greater appreciation of the environment we were privileged to be visiting. He took care to liaise with other travel groups and very often we found ourselves the only sightseers at a location.
One member of the group has various allergies and Ed made sure all the motels/lodges in which we stayed were aware and had suitable meal choices to offer. Impressively, for most days we were travelling, he personally prepared fresh and healthy picnic lunches; he also ensured plenty of snacks were readily available in the 4X4. We stopped regularly at points of interest and beauty along the route and barely noticed the very long distances. He also had a wealth of stories to entertain us.
We stayed at motels and wilderness lodges in rooms and glamping tents, all of which were enjoyable and comfortable. As remote as the outback Kimberley is, overall standards are impressive. Ed’s professional calibre contributed to what was an exceptional experience.

A unforgettable trip of a lifetime- Kununurra to Broome via Purnululu, Tunnel Creek and Cygnet Bay - the colours of the landscapes and the walks were amazing and beautiful.
Our guide Rod knew so much about the geology and ecology and the history ! And we went to places we would never have gone as they needed Rod’s expert local knowledge
We experienced the Kimberley landscape and it was incredible
The accommodation was always comfortable and the food delicious despite our remote location
We recommend InStyle to anyone…. And are planning another trip!

Awesomle experience with Ed Bennett ! When parting in Kununurra after &é days together discovering the marvels of the Kimberley, we told Ed we did not think of any critic to formulate; Now, back home in France, we are happy to confirm it in writing !
Ed is a very friendly, very knowledgeable professional. He knows a lot and loves to transmit his passion for his unique part of the world.

Our second tour with InStyle Adventures - and we were not disappointed!
Kerry our tour guide was fun and a made the whole trip enjoyable!! Her knowledge about the various flora and fauna and geology that we came across was informative and interesting.
We had two days in the magnificent Bungles - staying at the well-appointed Savannah Lodge. Spectacular Helicopter ride through this stunning scenery.
We were unable to get to Geikie Gorge or Windjana Gorge because of the recent flooding of the Fitzroy River - but Instyle Adventures were able to substitute a fantastic tour of Mimbi Caves with Aboriginal guide Ronnie Jambidie.
Tunnel Creek was so much fun - walking (with some swimming) through the large limestone cave.
We also were able to squeeze in a visit to the Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre near Derby - which was fascinating.
We highly recommend this tour
