This experience met our expectations and more, it was the best ever. We were on a high for days after and wished we were still in Broome so we could do it all again. The first initial contact with Hilary last year to plan the trip was excellent, something you have to plan due to the huge tides that Broome and beyond have. We arrived at KAS Helicopters and was met by Hilary Pilot and Davo fishing guide......All we wanted to do was catch a bigger fish than we had in Perth and to witness the spectacular scenery . The scenery was ticked off as soon as we took to the skys.......within 40 minutes our dream of catching a big fish was in the bag a 93 cm Longtom!!! Then the elusive Barra was ticked off our bucket list. Not forgetting the mangrove Jacks, Bream, Cod and GT's. an insane day. Thanks to Hilary and Dave for their abundance of knowledge and sense of humour that have made memories. Any fishos out there this is a must

Mitch was our pilot and Hilary was our contact, also a pilot but we had Mitch to fly us around. A wonderful experience, we flew up to Willie Creek along Cable beach and back to the point and over Roebuck bay. 30 min was just enough time. Mitch was very informative and we never crashed! which is a good thing. Not many people get the chance to get airborne especially in a small chopper, but I do recommend it if you have the means.

We have had a wonderful time in Broome and have done several fantastic experiences. But hands down, this was our most favourite and enjoyable experience 🙂
It was my first time in a helicopter and I was a bit nervous. The helicopter looked small and it had no front doors. I always feel a bit uncomfortable in small planes and presumed I would feel the same in a helicopter.
Our pilot Hillary was amazing. So friendly, professional and informative. Our flight was so smooth and interesting.
I sat in the back seat on our way there and was excited to sit in the front on the way back. Both my husband and I loved every minute of this experience and highly recommend it to everyone. An exciting and magical way to see the sights ❤️

Trip to see remote rock art cancelled around 24 hours before. Car hire expenses to get to derby and accommodation expenses to travel from broome to derby. Spoke to chief pilot who had rung me and he was aggressive and swore at me when I naturally said I was disappointed. No reason apart from not being able to get a guide. If his attitude toward me was similar to the guides then not surprising

Start to finish an amazing trip!! From calling Hilary from work last week in a mad rush to book something up last minute, to being picked up by Mitch, an INCREDIBLE 60 minute helicopter tour up Broome Coast, and then being dropped back at the hotel - KAS tours could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Mitch was a very informative pilot and guide and went out to look at whatever sparked our interest in the way. A truly special trip - thank you so so much.

After much consideration my wife and I both did the KAS helicopter transfer from Broome to Willie Creek (and back). Being 50+ and never been in a helicopter before, we were both some anxious about the trip. But as soon as we met Hilary from KAS helicopters she put us at ease! It was a fantastic experience, the sights were amazing and Hilary was very informative on what we were seeing on the ground as we flew along the spectacular Broome coastline. Highly recommend. Bucket list item for us achieved!

Mitch flew us up to Willie Creek Pearls. The experience was amazing. Got a fabulous view of cable beach, saw a turtle swimming on the way back. My partner had difficulty getting in and out of the helicopter due to weight/knee issues but the staff at KAS went out of their way to make it as easy as possible. It's just something everyone must do at least once in their lifetime.

We have toured 4 times with KAS Helicopters, twice with Hillary. We have found them to have great local knowledge, their tours to be fun and interesting. Safety has always been a strong focus we have experienced. We highly recommend the indigenous tour with Hillary and Bart. We will be touring with them again on our next trip to Broome. Mark

Can’t recommend this trip enough. Our pilot gave us an informative tour and was both professional and courteous. We loved the Pearl farm. Such a fantastic tour with amazing access to their ‘lab’ and the farm itself. Especially loved the special damper. Amazing place and would highly recommend
