When we were in Broome 10 years ago, this 12 Mile Bird Park did not exist. Since we were going to visit Malcolm Douglas Crocodile farm in the afternoon (opened 2 to 5pm), we decided to visit the bird park in the morning. It was...More

Don't much liked seeing caged creatures but this bird park is well managed and involved in rehabilitation of sick/injured. Delightful array of birds with just enough information on each breed/species.

The owner of this place has done a marvelous job caring for injured and exotic birds. Unfortunately we were on a tour and had to run around the park within 30 mins. It was a shame as some of the cockatoos really enjoyed a chat....More

We spent a lovely few hours here. Great to see such well cared for birds and neat and well maintained park. Highlight was the dancing cocky and pretty coloured parrots the kids loved. Great variety of birds too!

Well presented bird park, neat and tidy enclosures. Variety of Australian birds to see and we were able to identify a bird that we spotted on the side of the road traveling to Broome. Well priced park.

Pleasantly surprised with this bird park. Very well set out with a large variety of birds. The grounds were beautiful, with plenty of shade when hot.

Best time to visit is in the late arvo when cooler and birds are more alert. No interaction all birds are in cages and no tour. Lots of birds but only took 30 min. Not expensive. Suggest you go to Crocodile Farm near there
