Nice little market
Jul. 2021
Nice little market with lots of local craft. It’s on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There was a small food section as well which needed a few more tables and chairs In the Shade. Worth a visit if you’re in Broome.

Market meander

Nice size markets on Broome for a Saturday morning. Plenty of the regular type stalls of plants, coffee, art and crafts and a few pearl jewellery stands. Food consisted of mainly more lunch time type food.

Casual, friendly market
Jun. 2021
We visited the courthouse markets on Saturday morning. It is a very small market with a very casual and friendly vibe. Not a farmers market. Get there at 8.00 am and order your coffee from Kimberley Coffee. It was very good. I thought items in the market were on the expensive side. There were at least 3 pearl sellers, someone selling jams and preserves, handy crafts, and of course some food trucks. I would have liked to have had brekkie there, perhaps a bacon and egg bun, but there was a lot of asian foods bao buns, thai and other foods that I wouldn't have for breakfast.

Excellent markets! They had local crafts, food and all sorts of local stores. Lovely shady setting, you can meander around and spend some quality time here!

Go the bao buns for breakfast

Don’t go past the bao buns, they are amazing! And the mango fruit thingy and all the other great stalls. It’s not a trip to Broome without going here

Very average, overpriced market. What ever you do don’t buy the sunglasses from the lady claiming to be from sunglasses hut. Bought two pairs and they both broke the next day.

Great markets - different from most in Perth
Oct. 2020
Rather than the average markets where every second stall is basically the same selling cheap products imported from overseas, this one has a good range of locally produced products and food making it very enjoyable. A number of local artists are also there selling their artworks (which we could not resist). 15 years ago we visited here nd bought a glass plate made by a local, which unfortunately broke a few years later. We were pleasantly surprised to find this lady still here and very happy to find another plate which we bought.

A must visit if in Broome on a weekend
Sep. 2020 • Friends
These markets are like many other country markets in WA. However, they have many distinctive Broome flavors such as the numerous pearl jewellery stalls. You can get great coffee, there are numerous food vans to the west and absolutely awesome fresh doughnuts from the van in the south west corner. Spend some time chatting with the stall holders and maybe take home some pickles and condiments. The eclectic mix of ethnic groups in Broome means you can get Japanese, Malay, Chinese, Indian and a plethora of other foods all in the one take home pack!

Lovely place to spend an hour on Saturday morning

We enjoyed wandering around the numerous stands. The Indigenous artists had some great artwork and of course we had to buy one. Also bought a Boab drink - Bidam Mie - made by the local indigenous community as a fund raiser.

Great markets, great atmosphere

Great Saturday morning markets. Many many stalls, selling jewellery, art, clothes, fruit and veg, seafood, food trucks, and other items. Also has the award winning Kimberley Coffee Company stall - you’ll likely need to place your order and come back later for it, it’s so popular! Great place to stop by on a Saturday morning, and there’s a bus stop for the Broome Explorer Bus route.
