The rocks are amazing
Jun. 2021
You access this beach along an unsealed road but totally accessible by 2wd cars.Nice easy walk down there to see the stunning rocks and colours of the water.Could spend hours fossicking and walking along the beach.A must if you are in Broome.Just further along the track from Ganethuan Point

Break a leg
Jun. 2021
We drove out following our GPS and ended up at the Western car park. The warning signs at the beach entry were everything from falling rocks to crocodiles. I did not climb down the 6-10 feet to gain access to the beach as the red cliffs were steep and there were no stairs/steps.

Walked our dog here off lead. Beautiful rock formations. Visited frequently to admire the scenery and look for dinosaur footprints.

The colours of Western Australia
Jun. 2021
We spent a whole morning walking this beach, and hopping over the rocks. The colours of the rocks were spectacular and the beach is wide and hard. You need a 4WD to take the track in off the unsealed road but worth the trip in.

Beautiful Broome Beach

Stunning secluded Broome beach. The bay was so pretty and tranquil. Lovely to swim in and the stones on the beach were fun and interesting.

Worth the effort
Aug. 2020
Just south of the town is this amazing beach. Red rocks, blue sea, white sandy beach, ancient dinosaur footprints visible at low tide - great for rambling, snorkling and relaxing. A sandy track gets you there but get out and explore.

Beautiful beach but no luck with dinosaur tracks
Jul. 2020
For the hiking ambitious people like us, a beautiful walk from Cable Beach ending then at Entrance point (about 12k). There were hardly any people around, the blue water with a red stone backdrop makes a beautiful picture as in paradise. we really loved the scenery. Hubbie was keen to find some dinosaur tracks but there are no signs at all, so we haven't been successful

Red earth meets the sea
Jul. 2020 • Couples
This is the beach between Entrance Point and Gantheaume Point, and while there is 4WD access (currently closed due to washouts) to the beach, we parked at Entrance Point and walked from there to Reddell Beach. Amazingly quiet beach, with yellow sand that makes it feel quite different from Cable Beach, clearer water, and red earth mounds at the top of the beach. We also saw small blue mud crabs on the beach. Also interesting rocks to explore. Well worth spending an hour or two for a leisurely wonder and explore.
