The kids had such a great time - our little ones were 6 and 8 and the hosts Kaito and Jess were so good with them! Had a great group with other various aged kids who made the trip such a pleasure. Would highly recommend for families.

Late sep/early Oct isn't the best time as it's hot during the day but certainly less tourists, so take your pick! Swimming in the refreshing and beautiful gorges was the best part. The guides were awesome - kudos to Jess and Kaito for their enthusiasm, patience with kids and always smiling :) Ditch the spare clothes, they'll just get dirty but pack your own pillow for a better sleep. A light sarong/towel to cover your shoulders also blocks the sun on the bus window.

Our guide KaneToad and Host Jess were great people with knowledge of the area. They made the whole trip a great experience for the little kids and the teenagers too. The highlights of the trip definitely are going to, Manning Gorge, Manning Falls, Windjana Gorge and Bells Falls (although we had to walk there). Many stops for ice cream everyday and the meals provided were fantastic! Few small hikes in the heat was definitely worth it to see the gorges and falls and even some special rock art. Each night sleeping in the swags with the girls we made friends with was a great thing and new experience for most. Tenting was an option but we decided to camp the real way and that was special because we got to see the sunrise every morning. I would recommend this to all families! It was a great trip I’d love to do it again.

I booked through intrepid. The process was seamless. Brooke our Tour guide took care of everything, so that we could sit back and relax. The whole group loved Brooke and appreciated her dedication to ensuring we all had an enjoyable trip. My favourite activity on the trip would have to be Echidna Chasm because the walls are really high, at some points it's only a meter distance between walls and the palm trees are quite striking against the red rocks. In saying that I absolutely loved Tunnel Creek. There was a short swim and it was kinda scary, but we were in the Safety of our group and it gave me the courage to get through. I chose to do the optional extra - helicopter flight and it was incredible seeing the Bungle Bungles from a birds eye view. The camping sites are all fantastic and beautiful peaceful spots. The food is prepared daily, it's delicious and there is plenty to go around. Being a vegetarian, I had no issues. We were the last group for the season and the temperature was extreme. I followed the instructions on what to pack and had no issues. Don't forget the electrolytes! I fully enjoyed this trip and highly recommend you book it :-)

A long day but a great one. Gary was a terrific and very entertaining tour guide who really knew his way around. Whilst it was disappointing that Tunnel Creek had recently been closed for safety reasons, our visit to the Norval Art Gallery in Derby was an interesting replacement. Seeing the prison boab tree was another tick off my Australian touring bucket list. And seeing the freshwater crocs at Windjana Gorge just snoozing in the water with leaves sitting on top of them was amazing. Gary was very sensitive when speaking about the history of that part of the Kimberley. The food was plentiful - you don't go hungry on these tours! Dinner at the Willare Bridge Roadhouse was delicious and filled the gap just nicely.
