A great company, great prices, amazing experience. Easy to book online with plenty of reminders of your booking. I got the grumpy/lazy one that likes to sit down randomly but I was informed before and was told to just lean back, hold on and go with him, nothing scary, they fed him while we waited for the rest to get on and watched him the whole ride, I did thank khan(my camel) for not sitting through my ride though! 😂 would definitely book through these guys again. Take a water & apply sunscreen, it gets warm up there! …

Review of: Broome Sunset Camel Tour on Cable Beach
My friends and I were all very excited for our experience riding the camels in Broome. When arriving we met the friendly staff who introduced us to the camels and gave us a backstory on some while we waited for the rest of the tour group to arrive. The camels were absolutely gorgeous and all seemed to be going very well until there came an issue when disembarking. When all were on the camels and ready to go it appeared one of the camels grew tired of just standing around and decided to have a seat with passengers on him. The owner became very angry when he saw this happen and began to yell and abuse the camel and his employee. I understand camels are large animals and need a bit of a shove to get them back up again but yelling at the animal, hitting it across the head and then kicking it unnecessarily hard on its side was hard to watch and caused obvious distress to the animal and the people watching. The owner was still angry about the incident and proceeded to roughly shove the employee in front of all guests on the camels and abuse him, yelling at him about the fact that he did not walk the camels immediately. We all sat on the camels in shock at what cruelty we witnessed to both the animal and the employee. Would not recommend this company purely based off the treatment the owner had towards his animals and employees …

We were told the camels didn’t smell ... was the recommendation. Which put us on notice but so very true. They didn’t. We made a telephone booking as I didn’t want to have any confusion as to where to meet, how early we needed to be etc etc. Specific instructions were given and everything went perfectly. The crew were so very friendly, guided us, offered to take pictures and apart from the “bumpiness” of the ride, this was the perfect finish to a fantastic Broome holiday, our last excursion before departing the next day. The biggest thanks goes to Wangi our camel who apparently tends to try and head for a swim if allowed (no chance with our guide) so hope he does get a treat after this review. Also, good work to the handlers and rest of the crew. Thanks again.…

Broome and camel rides are synonymous. Red Sun staff were friendly, polite, passionate and professional and we were most impressed with the innovative method (albeit practical) method for mounting the camels compared to the past.
