I had not been here for a long time, and I was disappointed that I could not get out to the end of the pier. I think they close it off when a ship is in, but they should still allow access to 90% of...More

Went fishing on the wharf on a couple of occasions. The tide is strong so you probably don’t need heavy tackle as it is hard to feel the bites. A lot of smaller fish as you regularly lose your bait. There are plenty of fish...More

This long long jetty gives a clearer idea of the huge tidal ranges that Broome experiences. Passengers arriving or leaving on tourist boats need to be transported out along the long jetty by bus. It’s much too far to walk! At low tide the jetty...More

We went for a drive out there but unfortunately you can only walk a little way and not really get on to the pier. It is very well landscaped and a take-away and sit down restaurant.

We managed to fish from the jetty a couple of times during our week in Broome - mostly very early morning to catch the high tide and escape the hot sun. Plenty of fish around and hooked one particularly large one that escaped due to...More

We had a quick look around the Wharf and Jetty area. There were road trains and trucks and all sorts of vehicles moving around delivering, picking up and moving things. The setting is quite picturesque and the energy feels quite exciting. Kids who enjoy machinery...More

We travelled by hire car as we heard it was a good place to visit. There is a café, but you cant get out on the pier, such a shame as in the wet season people are looking for something to do. Would have been...More

The jetty is a good spot for fishing when the tides right. It's always nice to go for a walk and you always see something. A turtle,an osprey, sea snake and all sorts of fish. Agoda way to relaxe for a couple of hours.

No longer able to go out onto the wharf for security reasons. Views south across Roebuck Bay are good and there always seems to activit to watch.

Went here on our first day in Broome. It was an interesting walk but you wouldn't spend a lot of time here unless you were way into shipping etc.
