    Friendly
Good value to Cable Beach, especially compared to a taxi. Had a mech issue and they explained the delay, then got us "evacuated" to a replacement bus at the high school in no time. Clearly a mix of us tourons and local workers commuting, so it must be reliable enough. Would have used it more, especially to get to the rec center, if low-season runs were more frequent.

    The Explorer Bus is Fantastic
The bus is a brilliant way to get around Broome, makes life very easy on holidays. The commentary on the bus gives you wonderful information as you travel around. It is very convenient for the hotels, shops and local sightseeing.

    Local Broome Bus Service
We use the local Broome bus service whenever we visit Broome. It is excellent value for money and visits all the main areas ( including local caravan parks) in Broome and Cable Beach. Totally recommend this as the way to get around Broome.

Good way to get around, check the route map and stops carefully
Good way to get round town and get the feel of the place. The 72 hour pass was good value and it’s much less stressful to use the bus than walking too far in the heat. The buses tend to run late (up to 20 minutes late on one occasion) so be careful with time planning. The circular route can be a bit confusing, especially around Chinatown so I’d recommend picking up one of the paper route maps/timetable from the front of the bus and checking carefully where the stop is for your return journey.

Great bus service…. Shame about inconsistency of bus driver in dealing with customers.
$12 - great value for Seniors Enjoyed route & recorded commentary. A fantastic service in beautiful Broome. Thank you BUT…. Astonished that “the no drinks to be consumed rule “ was not followed thru by female bus driver… As a passenger got on later in our bus trip… the bus driver said to woman holding hot coffee in takeaway cup” You shouldn’t have that but I’ll let you this time” whereas the polite & friendly aboriginal man that I had been chatting to at bus stop opposite Cable Beach General store… upon entering bus was asked loudly “ Do you have an open bottle on you?” The gentleman was not inebriated. He was employed. He was pleasant. He responded quietly. He was so calm . Whereas her attitude made me grimace. I assured the female bus driver as I got on the bus “ I also have no open bottle on me.” I’m a retired special educationalist. Ive taught the most challenging students ( adults too) ..and I’ve always been respectful and consistent with behaviours that are not Ok… Maybe the bus driver is not feeling well. All I know is… it felt wrong.. It was an unsettling experience…. The signage is up in the bus…. Perhaps everyone needs reminding re food & drink as they get on. One rule for all And no belittling. Kindness is always possible & it’s important to be consistent with rules….

A Great way to ger Around Broome
This bus service runs regularly between the Cable Beach area and Broome city, with regular stops at all the major areas. The drivers are helpful and friendly, and there is a running commentary throughout. It's a great service, but do be aware that it doesn't go late into the late. The last bus tends to stop at about 7.30.

    Busbetter than walking.
Well worth the cost. Better than taxi. We bought the 10 trip and used all tickets over 7 days. They accept interstate Senior business and concession cards. Great savings. Regular timetable for markets, sunset and markets. Savings plus.

This is the very best way to see Broome as well as going from place to place. The onboard commentary is terrific. Get the daily pass as this allows you to get on and off at the different spots.

A convenient way to get around town. Mixed experience depending on the driver you get - some were awesome, but a couple were very impatient and almost rude. The last bus comes very soon after the moon rises for Stairway to the Moon so you need to rush to catch it or get a taxi home.
