It certainly has been an adventure to travel with Adventure Wild through the Kimberleys. I was greeted with such enthusiasm upon pickup and the energy was maintained throughout the journey. Nothing was too much trouble for Gools & Thomma. A lot was packed in the 12 days and every obstacles was handled so effectively, even Covid testing & isolation!
My dietary requirement was met so well that, I am sure with all the walking I still put on weights. Gools certainly put a lot of efforts feeding all of us with her healthy gourmet meals under the stars, snacks and cold drinks when we were on a long drive. It was wonderful not to have to think what to eat or prepare a meal for 12 days.
Self drive & explore has always been my preferred means of travelling in my own country. I was initially hesitant to book a tour but it was the best decision as I actually had a holiday, met wonderful fellow travellers & had a better appreciation of our indigenous culture and land through the stories shared by Thomma & Gools.
The swag was warm & comfortable, hot showers, our campsite is always fairly close to the toilet blocks and the 2 night stay in permanent tent makes camping easier for a senior.
I chose Adventure Wild amongst others because Simone was so easy to talk to, competitive price points and the visual aid of their websites of day to day activities makes it easy to visualise the trip.
Thank you for such a wonderful adventure.

We have just returned from a 12 day trip with Kylie and Dean as our leaders, the trip was as good if not better than it looks on the brochures. Dining under the stars swimming in waterfalls, seeing the wonders of the Kimberley region, there were so many WOW moments. There are many companies who do similar tours but we were SO happy we went with Adventure Wild, Simone and Karl were easy to communicate with but most importantly are the guides they employ. Kylie produced wonders from her trailerkitchen which was much appreciated by all on the trip. Dean was full of great information and leader on the walks, inspiring confidence amongst the group of not too youngish folk.
Most importantly they are genuine nice people who love what they do and this
enthusiasm was easily spread amongst our fellow travellers.

12 days in The Kimberleys with Thommo and Gools as our hosts.
From go to whoa, great trip with fantastic hosts. Interesting mix of travellers and personalities in a group situation requires a bit of give and take by everyone. Tips to every traveller, DON'T overpack, especially of the day trips during the adventure. Take a good headlamp. Hydralyte tablets essential. Final night stay at the exclusive campsite beside the billabong on the working cattle station was my favourite and could have easily stayed a second night.
Are the prices for this trip or activities budget-friendly ? It's all relative to each individuals lifestyle. We always view the extra cost of helicopter flights, etc with an attitude of "will I ever come this way again ?" Most likely not, so go for it !

This has to be the best run and organised tour we have ever used….anywhere
It starts with the total care and professional attention pre trip from Simone and Karl who own Adventure Wild. Prompt and personal response to all enquires.
This extends to the trip itself. The camps and the itinerary they have chosen are brilliantly selected and every day is a joy. Great facilities - showers, toilets, hot water. Another secret is that Simone and Karl choose the best guides, in our case Gools and Thommo. These two know the Kimberley, are full of all the knowledge you would want. They are with us 24 hours a day and nothing is too much trouble. Gools prepares amazing food everyday allowing for many and varied dietaries Thommo is the master of all things and looks after the truck as well as they both look after us.
On our trip we saw other companies who tour the Kimberley. My only comment is that this shows how correct we were to choose Adventure Wild.
We’ll done to the whole team. Thank you to our fellow travellers. Young, old and in between! All blended well and so enjoyed their time whether experienced campers or inner city first timers! 🤪.
Could not be better. Nothing needs improving 🦋🍀👏👏

A truly wonderful holiday thanks to Simone, the owner, but especially due to our guides, Dean and Kylie, who were fun, caring, sources of immense knowledge, great cooks and Dean is a fantastic driver.
Without being an experienced 4WD driver you could not get to where we went.
So many highlights- Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge at sunset, Bungle Bungle hikes and chopper, Mitchell Falls, Lake Argyle, the Ord River Gorge, swimming in waterfalls, wildlife, evenings by the fire, but the group was the highlight.
This is a must-do for Australians

Our tour was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID, but I still want to call out the excellent customer service provided by Adventure Wild in the lead up to the tour and in the last minute cancellation process.
The booking and pre-tour process was very smooth. Information provided was clear and comprehensive. And when i did have a question, Simone was always very prompt in replying to queries.
When the COVID issues arose, the company handled them very professionally, keeping us well informed and doing everything they could to keep the tour going.
I highly recommend Adventure Wild. And we will be back again to give the tour another try!!

This is a fabulous trip! Kylie and Dean were our hosts on this Adventure and they could not have done more to keep us fed (too) well, catered to a variety of hiking abilities and definitely Covid safe!.
The Kimberley and Gibb river Rd do not disappoint - the scenery is amazing. As we were there at the end of the wet, the waterfalls were magnificent, the days were warm and the nights still pleasant. Almost every hike ending in a delightfully refreshing swim in a waterhole.
What sets this trip apart is the opportunity to fly over the Kimberley to the Mitchell Falls, saving two days of bone jarring travel!
Each night the campfire is set and the stars put on their own show! The best kept secret is the night ‘camped by the Billabong’.
Loved it!

I went on a 12 day tour of the Kimberley’s with Adventure Wild starting 5 July. I came from the UK especially and it was well worth the journey. There had been unexpected rain a week or so before and some of the road crossings were flooded but the wonderful team at Adventure Wild, and Gools & Thommo (G&T) in particular, made sure that we still had a fantastic trip.
The Kimberley’s are beautiful, and we visited some wonderful gorges, billabongs and waterfalls. Saw sunrises and sunsets and wildlife – G&T are very knowledgeable so we knew what we were looking at.
The campsites were great fun – ranging from full facilities to just a cold tap – it was a great experience to sleep under so many stars. We had lovely meals – I don’t know how Gools managed to cook such tasty food with so few facilities. The whole experience was made enjoyable by G&T’s organisation and tireless work throughout the 12 days.

We've just finished our 12 days Kimberley camping trip. Two amazing guides Dean and Kylie have done excellent work. Every tiny things that they gave us made me felt parents looking after their children. They enjoyed their work and made lots of surprises to us.
We've got VIP services.
