Our 15 day, fully catered, Kimberly camping trip with Outback Horizons was a fantastic experience from pickup at Broome airport to drop off at tour's end. The Kimberly is fascinating, colourful, and endlessly varied and this company wants to share it all with it's clients. Our guides Phil and Caroline went out of their way to give us the best experience possible - and yes, unforeseen things went awry as they can do in life, (none were of the company's making), but Bryce, Phil and Caroline went out of their way to quietly adjust, compensate and make our holiday a truly excellent time. Phil unstintingly shared his extensive knowledge of the region, and his and Caroline's obvious enjoyment of the Kimberly rubbed off on us all. The camping equipment and vehicle were modern, safe and comfortable and Caroline's catering, variety and choices of food, not to mention her excellent camp cooking helped us all to feel very pleased with our choice of travel company. If you ever consider small group touring we happily recommend Outback Horizons.…

Review of: 12 Day Kimberley Premium Camping Tour
I have just completed a wonderful 15 day Kimberley camping trip with Outback Horizons. We set off from Broome and proceeded to visit the various, very interesting and different gorges along the Gibb River Rd to Kununurra, then on to Purnalulu and back to Broome via Geikie Gorge at Fitzroy Crossing. Our small group of eight was ably led and looked after by experienced tour guide, Phil and our delicious food was provided by second guide, Caroline. The pace of the tour was great as the time gave us the ability to spend two nights in several places along the way. We became quite adept at setting up and pulling down tents and enjoyed the camaraderie that developed around the campfire and over the trip. The itinerary was well planned and we had some terrific walks and swims visiting Windjana, Tunnel Creek, Bell, Manning, Adcock and Galvans Gorge, a walk and helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls (with the option of a second over Purnalulu – well worth it!). The sunset drinks at El Questro, a visit to Emma Gorge and Zebedee Springs were all highlights as was the Triple J cruise down the Ord River out of Kununurra. All in all, we had a memorable trip and recommend travelling with Outback Horizons.Owner Bryce was very responsive and personable and went out of his way to ensure that all our needs were met along the way.…

Review of: 12 Day Kimberley Premium Camping Tour
We took off early in the season and as result access to Mitchell Falls was not available. But we also had several beautiful gorges / waterfall swims all to ourselves before the busier times. Our most experienced Guide and great driver Phil …and our superb cook Caroline kept in regular contact with Bryce reworking our 12 day trip. What we missed out on was made up for by the enthusiasm of our guides. We were able to enjoy fresh tasty meals x3 day … glorious vistas.. sunrises…comfortable camping …hikes …walks …swims …sunsets …laughs … happy hours with chilled drinks as Phil and Caroline diligently kept everything in order. Phil’s Kimberley expertise and knowledge was greatly appreciated as well as his safe handling of our comfortable 4x4 vehicle. Nothing was too much trouble for Caroline and her food every night was awesome. I can recommend this tour for an safe intimate Kimberley experience.…

Review of: 12 Day Kimberley Premium Camping Tour
A wonderful 12 days camping and 4 wheel driving in the Kimberley, travelling with Outback Horizons. We were expertly driven, guided and fed by the wonderful Phil and Caroline who also went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible. And thanks Bryce for ensuring we didn’t miss out by supplying ice creams, meals, champagne, alternate accommodation and helicopter rides when some of the roads were closed. We are still raving about the wonderful time we had!…

Review of: 12 Day Kimberley Premium Camping Tour
My husband and I, along with six other friends, recently completed a 15 day camping trip with Outback Horizons in the Kimberley region and, despite a few mishaps, had a fabulous time. We started in Broome and visited and swam in several gorges along the Gibb River Road. We also went to the Mitchell Plateau, enjoying a helicopter flight to the falls and then walking back to the carpark. From there it was on to El Questro, Kununurra and Purnululu before returning to Broome. Phil and Caroline, our tour leaders, did a wonderful job, dealing with unforeseen situations in a very positive, professional manner and we all had a lot of fun. Caroline was an amazing camp cook, serving up delicious meals and my husband ensured that nothing ever went to waste! We would highly recommend a trip such as ours to anyone who enjoys camping and the outback.…
