Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Did the Mangrove Tour yesterday and we enjoyed it immensely. Great for all ages and fitness levels. The highlight was collecting pipies from the mangroves and cooking them on the beach at the end of the tour. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the pipies were delicious.

We met Bart and his family outside our hotel, had a safety briefing and ‘mud’ wellies fitted, and set off. Bart explained everything as we walked through the grove out to Buccaneer Rock. Very squelchy walk!!! Marvellous sight as the bats flew out of the trees. We sat on the rock as the sun went down, and waited for the moon to rise - but sadly too cloudy for the Staircase. Then a walk back in the dark with head torches, spotting starfish and hermit crabs. A truly lovely evening, thank you.

Walking through the mangroves with Bart was a brilliant, rich experience - Aboriginal culture, bush foods, ecological information and pearling history - best tour in Broome!

Bart and Eric were amazing in leading us through the mangroves. The creation stories as well as the pearling history and flora and fauna knowledge was fantastic. We loved every minute of this tour.

Highly informative and well paced tour. Very well prepared and organised. The waterproof booties provided were essential and much appreciated (and available in all sizes). Bart provides comprehensive answers to questions asked by young and old alike. SO worth getting up early for (to allow the tour to be held at low tide) !

A great afternoon exploring the mangrove tidal area of Roebuck Bay. Starting just below Matso’s Brewery and with neoprene boots provided by Narlija, we set off to explore the low tide area. Led by Bart Pigram, we walked through the many types mangroves and saw crabs, octopi, snails and razor clams. We learnt how important the inter-tidal region was in providing food for the Yawuru people and the significance of the rocky outcrops and pools in the aboriginal dreamtime stories.
At the end of the walk, Bart pointed out different types of trees on the shoreline and how they provided bush tucker and footwear materials for indigenous people. A most educational walk in a tidal area that is rich in vegetation and critters, that most tourists wouldn’t bother to visit.

Great afternoon in the mangroves with Bart. Very informative and interesting tour which gives a greater appreciation of all of the life in the mangroves. We even caught a mud crab which was beautiful to eat
