Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Never have done a Thai massage before and this was definitely the best massage we have ever had. Did the Thai 90 minute massage. 60 minute thai massage and 30 minute foot massage. This is not for the weak... its a deep pressure massage. The therapist and massaging with knees, elbows and whatever is needed to get those tight spots. Loved it.

It's always hard to find a good, clean, not-dodgy place to get a massage in a different city. Thanks to the concierge at QT Hotel, I found this place. I definitely needed a massage after a long flight from the US, and then a long drive down to Great Ocean Road and back. I was able to get an appointment straight away and had a great, effective massage. I really wanted to come back the following day but ran out of time. I'll definitely come back to this spot when I'm back in the city and absolutely recommend it to friends in Melb!

It takes a few time - but I found the right therapist - I have a pretty bad back, shoulder, arm and leg. On the whole they are still pretty good compare to others that I have visited. Recommended if you want a guarantee standard of deep tissue massage. You might need to find the right person at first.

I've been going there for a couple of years and in the last couple of months the staff havent been as polite as they used to be and the massages careless and not good at all. Would no longer recommend.

I have been a regular customer at both Burke st shops. Very professional and excellent massages.
Being an active sports person I always get a 90 min combination Thai / deep tissue with a 30 min foot massage.
It's typical pricing and they do offer rewards points for each visit. I'm guessing but it probably gives you a free massage after every 10 or so.
Highly recommend this place.
Jayda is my regular masseuse. She is super strong if you like a Vigorous massage.

Wow, I didn't know how good a Thai massage could be.
Was thinking about doing an hour massage, but then my body said, Nah, mate, go the 90 minutes. 30 mins feet and 60 body. Perfect combo.

I hd a massage from Pam. I expect her colleagues are of the same quality. She was excellent, though.🙏😇

Suggestion: Bring a small backpack or money belt for your ID and wallet, that way your body will enjoy the effects of the massage.

I was visiting Melbourne for a yoga intensive and needed some relief for sore muscles. The therapist I had was excellent, very firm pressure (probably a bit firm for me but tolerable) and felt excellent afterwards. I'm trained as a massage therapist myself and enjoyed my treatment. Didn't have to wait, just walked in and they can accommodate different combinations of their massages on the menu. Got a bonus 5mins from their lucky dip and cheaper if you pay cash

Went in today after work expecting some relaxing massage. How wrong was I. Requested for a foot massage only to have an amateur untrained 'masseuse' handle my foot massage. Halfway through the massage he proceeds to blow his nose (yes albeit into a tissue) but then after doing so continues with my foot massage with his filthy hands after chucking the tissue aside. Does it again the second time and that's when I said to him if he could please chuck away those disposable gloves which he had used to blow his nose with and change into a new pair. After the service I ring the store to complain only to be greeted by the comment that the so called masseuse had blown into a tissue and that made it alright. Not good enough. You do not blow your nose and then continue using those same filthy hands to continue massaging someone. Super poor service and never ever returning. I am also still waiting for a call back from 'customer service'

Visited the location yesterday and asked for a traditional Thai massage , asked whoever is the best person , let them do it . They said Pamela is good , well she tried her best and asked if the pressure was okay and I said it was fine , for someone who regularly gets traditional Thai massage , I could tell she is not experienced , at the end , still gave her $20 tip. After a few hours and the whole night my body was asymmetrically sore , left shoulder and the whole lower back , even after hydration , I had to repeatedly apply the muscle relaxant cream and took ibuprofen . The next day after breakfast I happened to pass by another location ( of vigorous Thai massage ) and saw the same young Thai manager who was there at the Bourke location .
I nicely went and told him , he said I should have told right there and then , I told him the pain started later , how could I tell him at the end of massage . His colleague even suggested , why don’t I get a relaxation massage and I said it’s fine as long as the soreness go away , the guy said that would not help , said why don’t I go back to the sane location , I told him you are the same manager in both places , all I wanted him was to be a little sympathetic and just say that he was sorry for my experience and could give me a small for discount for relaxation masssge , but the guy was rude and did not care .
I would not have put this review for even the bad massage but the way I was shabbily treated made me right this review . Rest I will leave to the viewers

My partner and I popped in after hours of shopping in Melbourne. No appointment was required, there were ample staff to accommodate last minute customers like us and the massage was really good. I received an extra 10 mins top up from their free lucky dip. Win, win.
